Ca 1650 Jamestown VA I don't have anything verified prior to the late 1600s. That's the Huguenot line. But I suspect the "Stormhands" family was here prior to that. I have a will probated in 1733 from a landowner (also 8 slaves), that makes me think 1) He was obviously British and 2) He'd been here a while.
I gotta do some more digging.

2J, I don't think we're going to get to have dinner! I have to be at the theater by 1 to pick up the tickets. And Tammie, who is coming with me doesn't drop her kids at school till 8AM. So, we're going to be driving hard to make it I think.
Then, we gotta try to be back here the next morning to take her kids to school again! It's going to be pretty tough to get that done no matter how hard I drive. I'm trying to get that through to her but she keeps saying we'll make it.... I dunno....

I'm more concerned about beverage intake...er and outtake...

Yeah, the used beverage is my concern.
I typically drink a lot of water every day. I will need to cut my intake for that day. I can put plenty of snacky stuff in my purse to make it through the 12 hours.

I'm ready to take Matthew to cub scouts. Funny thing is...usually it takes an HOUR for me to get ready, because I never know where anything to wear is! Then, when I find it and get it all together, I have to iron it before anyone can wear it!
I am so organized and straightened up NOW that when I went to get us ready (when Barney comes on, just like I usually do)...ten minutes later we were all ready to go! I'm just sitting here a bit astounded.
