Where do you find Liberal Christian Fundamentalists? Seems an odd discription of a non-existent creature.

"We got your number ~ you guys are all the time coming up with "new cures" from dope"

"Odds are always very good that druggies lie."

Wow. Two arrogant presumptions in one post. We also have the two standard fallacies that the dope hysterics always drag out on these threads:

Fallacy #1 - "only druggies could possibly care about finding new medicines, regardless of where they come from."

I'm not a druggie, don't like drugs and don't do any drug stronger than Scotch. Never have, never will But if someone finds a medical use for the chemicals in pot, I wouldn't refuse it out of hand.

Then of course there's the second common fallacy:

Fallacy #2 - "only druggies could possibly care about ever-increasing Federal power."

I don't love drugs, but I do love the Constitution. And on this issue, the potheads are closer to the Constitution than the statists are.

And because somebody somewhere might be enjoying him/herself without nmh's approval, nmh somehow feels it necessary to deny that anything beneficial could ever possibly come from the same plant that somebody might be enjoying him/herself with.

The "logic" behind this thinking escapes me. Drugs are so bad that we mustn't even consider that they may be in some small way good. Bizarre.

Derivatives of the active compound in cannabis -- cannabinoids -- may have the potential for treating inflammatory bowel diseases ....

MAY have the POTENTIAL??? Well, hell, if you're that sure about it....

Yeah, but don't tell the Liberal Christian Fundamentalists in this country that want more government intrusion into our personal lives.

A dope addict affects all he comes in contact with. I have the same to say about Alcohol, the worst drug in America. Stay strong, keep a strong mind, stay away from the bad chemicals.

DR. HIBBERT
Well, there is medication, although it is a little... controversial.

HOMER
Does it go in the butt?

DR. HIBBERT
I'm talking about medicinal marijuana. Prescription pot. Texas THC.

This might be a wonderful adjunct to the fabled coffee enema.

Warning! Warning!
Remove seeds and stems before ingesting.

Coffee beans must be ground FINE or painful irritation
may result.

It's got to better than ingesting non-soluable sulfa drugs in combination (but not ingested with) cortisone enemas.

Your post suggests you are currently ingesting copious quantities of otherwise prohibited substances.

Good idea to stay off the streets for a few days ~ 'til it wears off.

Bet your paranoia got the best of you for a few moments there eh?!

Potheads amazingly can, if they try, clear up and knock it off. The psychological addiction is very, very powerful though. It's almost impossible for a pothead to get off for more than a year.

Derivatives of the active compound in cannabis -- cannabinoids -- may have the potential for treating inflammatory bowel diseases like Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, UK researchers report.

That would benefit me because I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease two years ago.

Looks like some medical marijuana for me.
