A variety of Heinz products are seen at a convenience store in Golden, Colorado February 28, 2006. H.J. Heinz Co. on Tuesday posted a 23 percent drop in net profit, and fell short of Wall Street estimates, as its tax rate rose and the stronger dollar cut into the value of overseas sales. Wow, it took 17 post to get "schadenfreude" up

I would have thought that would have been part of the headline!

It couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of people. And I use that term loosely

And WHAT has THAT to do with Heinz, with whom Terry and her boys have NOTHING AT ALL TO DO WITH?

Yes they did:

Pittsburgh, PA, March 22, 2004 – In light of some misleading speculation, the H. J. Heinz Company would like to make clear that neither Mrs. Teresa Heinz Kerry, Senator
John Kerry nor any member of their family is involved in the management or board of the H. J. Heinz Company (NYSE:HNZ). They have no involvement in the Heinz® Ketchup
business or any of the company’s other brands or products.

It's quite a "coincidence" that Kofi Annan was greeted* at the Pittsburgh Airport by the Chairman/CEO of the Heinz Corporation toodled across town to get a humanitarian award from the Heinz Fund, then toodled across town to deliver a Heinz Lecture that attacked Bush.

Bunny, you jumped to conclusions first..with this statement...To: AmericanMade1776
Frankly I don't see anything to cheer about. American company (of which Terezzzazza owns a mini amount of) is having a hard time keeping its head above water. I don't see what the fun is about.

You are not very logical are you?

Company goes down the tube = jobs go down the tube. But then, I never gave you any credit for understanding the elements of business anyway.

Regardless of the bordere issue, people flew of the handle based on PERCEPTIONS as opposed to FACTS.

Pres. Bush being slow on the border: FACT.
Pres. Bush selling security to the terrorist Ay-rabs: PERCEPTION.

How is this port issue any different from some dumb@$$ liberal belief that Republicans are elitist and rich is beyond me. They are both based on ignorant perceptions.

Your welcome. As the days pass, I find myself losing my cool and reason more and more. Too many traitors, perverts, and scum to the left, too many despots, tyrants, and tinpot lunatics in the middle, and too many bridge burning, "kill em all", purist executioners to the right.

Taxing. :|
