**I have to work Thanksgiving. It’s double time.***

If people wanted off for holidays they would apply for vacation those days.

WE then would check the schedules to see what our chances of working those days were. We got paid our regular hourly pay, then time and one half for those same hours. Basicly double time and a half.

I loved working holidays and other’s days off!

My dad always said a man could get by on regular pay, but with time and 1/2 he could LIVE WELL! He was right!

No vacations allowed between Black Wednesday and New Year's Day. We learn that the first year. Those who don't like it, leave then. Even days off request for doctor's appointments are rejected.

This year is different ON Black Thursday.
