I am sure everyone wants to know what I think. (YIKES)

Posted on 02/20/2012 12:11:03 PM PST by dt57

ok, guess this is what is called a vanity. Not sure because this is my first post. So give me a break ok? WE are now down to 4 candidates. Here is how I see it. There will be no surprizes for anyone who has read my posts.

1. Ron Paul. A true fiscal conservative that I would vote for in a heart beat if he had a clue about our enemies and how much they hate us and want to destroy us and our way of life.

2. Mitt Romney. All he has to offer is that he really, really, really wants to be President. Well, good for him. The problem is when that is your sole motivatiion, you will do anything to win. It is sickening. I can not vote of this man.

3. Rick Santorum. A good family man, and an above average Senator for PA. A true second tier candidate any field (except the one we have.) He is a fair communicator and fair debator. I will vote for him, if he is the one. Can he win, I doubt it.

4. Newt Gingrinch. A flawed candidate with a lot of (known) bagage. I happen to believe they all have past sins, it is just his are really out there to say the least. Newt can articulate the conservative message better than anyone since Ronald Reagan. I hope he wins.

5. A brokered or contested convention. This will insure an establishment republican. I know many say Rick and Newt will put their delegates together. I will have to see that to believe it.

Post if you feel like it. The crabs being all critical towards you don’t own this board. Don’t cave in to all this “IBTZ” nonsense.

I pretty much agree with all you said, but will probably end up voting for Santorum.

****Bald faced lies within two sentences with more than 25 prior posts. Typical and predictable.****

dt57 probably meant this was the first thread he had posted.

I often refer to threads as posts - and posts as pings - and FReepmail as emails - and emails as posts. FReeping is not a foreign language, but it sure can be confusing to a Newbie.

True.

And SIX grandchildren!!

We don't know if they have blogs or not. Or if they and their parents pimp those blogs.

No points for that without provenance.

“My dalliance with the NAACP was short-lived...”
I’m glad you got better!
But, compared to smokin pot..? Well, I’d rather shoot heroin into my eyes with HIV needles from cancer patients.
Actually the NAACP started nobly, long, long ago.

May I recommend the book “Flatland” to you? [1][2]

[1]It is available online in epub, pdf, and other formats.

[2]This is an insult you will probably not understand w/o having it ‘splained to you.

That could well be and I usually attempt to be more forgiving. Then again, it may be that I've become far too cynical as time grinds on.

The crabs being all critical towards you don’t own this board.

Act like a butthole regarding the culture here and you'll see who owns what.

You don't show up and start writing poorly constructed vanities and expect to be embraced lovingly.

Peer review and pleasing the audience are always important factors.

We don't want to read illogical misspelled crap. This ain't beanbag.

Talking to friends and family, I've repeatedly -- and on accident -- referred to Romney as Obama and Obama as Romney.

I'm not kidding. Lol!

This political season is just toooooo darn long...

Disagree, again, you don’t set the standards for the board. Why discourage communication? This poster is not your enemy. Fight with liberals.

I can see myself voting for Rick Santorum, but it will be if Newt bows out.

Paul: NO
Romney: NO
Santorum: MAYBE
Newt: YES

Well Lucy, draftsmen from the 1960's often saw the world in only two dimensions. Some moved on to axometric views of the world. And of course, you're always welcome to recommend any book you wish.

Oooh, that’s cold, humblegunner.

I have 15 Great-Grandchildren, and certify that none of them have blogs.

And I pretty much agree with dt57’s analysis.

Actually the NAACP started nobly, long, long ago.

I don't even buy that.

From the outset, with its birth from the Niagara Movement, the NAACP was infested with Socialists, Communists and leftists of all colors. Among the worst was the evil W.E.B. DuBois who later chaired the anti-American Peace Information Center along with others of the Fifth Column.

Among the other fellow travelers instrumental in the founding of the NAACP was Oswald Garrison Villard, who called for the nationalization of America's major industries. The list of Communists and/or sympathizers involved with the NAACP from 1905 (or 1909) through World Wat II also includes Mary White Ovington and Lincoln Steffans who characterized the Soviet Union thusly, "I have seen the future, and it works.".

The NAACP of the past, present and future is one of racist, anti-Americanism. There is not now and there was not then anything noble about this utterly-corrupt scam.
