The Roberts' court ruling appears to be opening the eyes of more than a few on the right that the Constitution cannot limit the scope of Federal power which now only the willfully blind see as limited. And given the fresh memories of the Bush administration fewer yet see salvation in the Republican Party.

It will be interesting to see where the people turn. A return to the founding principles rooted in state sovereignty is a possibility but is by no means assured. History suggest a decent into totalitarianism more likely. But the American people have surprised before.

Sadly you're right. Only a very serious wake-up call will do. Maybe if a few midwest, flyover, and/or western States start serious proceedings to leave, or actually do leave, will it wake the rest of the Country up.

No more career politicians, on either/any side of the aisle. To them and their ilk, more government is good, it is all they know. They cannot even fathom how the rest of us view them and their endless regulations as impediments and burdens. Enough.

I don’t see how that can possibly make any difference unless you plan on assassination the Leftist Federal injustices(including Traitor John).

It has been made clear today that the Federal Constitution is a dead letter in its only inherit propose. The protection of the rights of the people.

If too many of the population of this federation are too attached to this lawlessness then I see no other option to regain our liberty but secession.

Regretfully with respect to the acts of anther tyrant that may mean war that we will have to prepare for first(dismantling the federal army, preparing to cease part of the nuclear arcenel, and purging the State National Guards of disloyal officer).

I would say Texas would be the most likely one and if a movement started to gather steam then many would move there and swell the ranks of the movement and I might just be one of them.

Maybe there is one, I don’t know for sure, but as far as I can tell, the left won the entire shooting match today. There is no more game, it’s over, we are but property of our master.

I can say that I’ve had a very good life so far, I grew up when America was great. When Ronald Reagan was president. When there was music and people generally had respect, well at least more respect than they have today.

This morning when I awakened to find out that the USSC upheld the totalitarian move, I immediately started reading about other countries in which to live. If I find one that is less intrusive, less taxes, etc, I’ll move there in a New York second. I have heard that American dollars go a long way in the Dominican Republic, for example.

IMHO - The US is going to fiscally implode just like the Soviet Union. The debt burden, cronyism and fiscal irresponsibility guarantees that fiscal collapse. Nothing can stop it at this point in time. So preparing for the collapse is a must. That is what all the prepping is really about. After the collapse, we will have the opportunity to split the states and reform into various nation entities. DC will simply become nonexistent as its money will become worthless. No one but Putin talks about the old Soviet Union anymore.
