I posited something very similar on another board. What may be required is an “in your face” example of Socialist failure. I’m not even sure watching France go down the tubes will do it. It may come to firsthand experience with utter misery.
To be blunt, even when they're starving or being lined up against a wall by the people they supported, most of them will still blame the “evvviiillllll” right (aka, conservatives and Christians).
Of course, then they get to face God. I pray they FINALLY wake up at that point, but would consider even 1% doing so to be a bona fide miracle...
