Cynthia Tucker and “sensible” do not belong together
Leftists like this woman never seem to mention that “The Gun Lobby” organizations merely stand in place of the hundred million plus Americans those organizations speak for.
I’d label her as an enemy of America, not just the NRA.
She already has her gun. And probably a man or three to back her up. It’s those other people she wants to keep guns away from. Typical liberal female. It was a huge mistake to let liberal females to have any political say in society.
We have Cyn, now piss off.
I agree that we need sensible gun laws.
Take the average number of urban ferals involved in a flashmob (or beat whitey night at the Iowa State Fair), multiply that by the average number of bullets it takes to stop a rampaging thug and you have reached a sensible number of bullets for a magazine.
Now examine the fire rate necessary to stop said group of ferals before they harm you and a sensible law would not prohibit fully automatic weapons.
Both want me thrown in jail for owning the best home defense weapon.
Those wishing to make me vulnerable to assault side with my enemies.
Cynthia Tucker-IQ -5.
She’s the piece of offal that suggested we fly over Iraq and drop cans of Spam for all the civilians during the start of the war.
No wonder our universities are in such sad shape if they invite the likes of HER to “lecture” on anything!
I believe the NICS system is a violation of our rights. Wonder what she thinks of me...
I think SENSIBLE GUN OWNERS are speaking out, Cynthia, it’s just that you don’t like what they’re saying.
Cynthia just wants you to give up a little bit of your freedom, not all of it. Sort of like African Americans were forced to after Plessy v. Ferguson.
It's like this: You no more NEED a semi-automatic rifle with a 30 round magazine than Rosa Parks NEEDED to ride on the front of that bus.
What you really need is for your rights to be respected.
Here is a sensible gun law:
Make it a crime for anyone who cannot legally purchase a gun from writing laws regarding guns.
Bobby Rush, rep (D), from IL, is putting forth gun legislation, yet HE COULD NOT WALK INTO A GUN STORE TO LEGALLY BUY A GUN.
That is BS and needs to change!
I’m so sick of crap like ...
“Of course, if you know anything about the NRA, you know thats enough. Its extremism is dangerous, absurd and viciously dogmatic dismissing anyone who doesnt think civilians should own their own shoulder-fired rocket launchers as an enemy.”
The utterer’s of phraseology like that must be labeled as they are, treasonous bags of shit...
It's my technical opinion that a shoulder fired rocket launcher is probably easier to fabricate than most firearms.
I worked with a guy once whose previous job had been with a defense contractor.
As a prank one day, he designed a device which could travel along a wire strung up along the ceiling of our workplace. The device was equipped with a solenoid operated basket which carried a ping-pong ball. He would point a flashlight at the moving device and turn the beam on. A photo-cell would then trigger the solenoid and release the ping-pong ball on an unsuspecting co-worker.
Outlawing arms will keep the ignorant from buying them legally but those with some technical expertise will be able to make them when needed.
I hope we don't need to find out just how many normal capacity magazines can be turned out on 3-d printers. I'm even tempted, here in the People's Republik of Kalifornia, to give a try to making perfectly legal ten-round magazines just to convince myself of how easy it would be to make normal capacity magazines in a pinch.
(But wait!, there's MORE!)
If you can afford (and can safely store the ammo for) a tank, an artillery piece, whatever, and haven't been convicted of a crime nor been court-ordered to treatment for drugs, booze, or psychiatric reasons, you should be able to own that, too.
There's your "extremist", Ms. Tucker, not the NRA.
