Being a lurker more then a poster, it's easier, not being personally involved, to evaluate various members from what they write. Over time some have come across to me as seriously deranged. When later I don't see their names I assume they moved on whether voluntarily or not. Sometimes, when lurking at other sites which have no boundaries of taste and reason and decency, these people show up again and what they write confirms my observations. Many sociopaths and psychopaths who all have underlying themes and one is that they hate the American government which to me means they hate America and our people.

It's an error to think that these anti-freeper sites are liberal, leftist or Democrat oriented. Their collective posters and repliers consist mainly of bitter and revengeful FR bannees, the usual anarchist and anti-government crowd, dope-lovers and failed third-partyites mixed in with a sprinkling of filthy-mouthed aimless, rootless riff-raff with no ideology or moral base and are just there for sick entertainment.
The ironic part is that many banned freepers eagerly signed on to these sites only to find that they get regularly trashed and insulted right along with everyone else. Bashing each other, not politics or principles, is a blood sport on these sites.
These insignificant anti-everything sites pop up regularly and then fail miserably. Their forums try to copy FR, but there's little to no replies posted under their articles. Their "chat room" contributors are mainly into bashing anything and everything, including each other.
Then the disillusioned participants (all of whom you can fit into a phone booth) move on to another similar new anti-site, hoping to find nirvanah or another Free Republic-type operation, but always come up disappointed and empty-handed.
Free Republic endures.

FRS has been set up to put Jim Robinson's Free Republic site under the microscope. Where does all the money actually go and why does he keep banning posters for spurious reasons? Contact the webmaster if you have information. We guarantee your anonimity. This has got to be Z2.

One such dissenter was Christopher Knight, who also found himself out in the cold recently for not loving the "cokehead felon". This time the reason Jim gave wasn't "Saddam apologist" but instead "Liberal". Which he isn't, unlike Robinson who used to be a registered Democrat. You banned Bobby Brady?!?!?!? Shock! Awe! I'm telling Alice!

The following is the Free Republic Sucks Forum:
Coming Soon!
FRS will be running in test mode for most of 2003. However, we do plan to move to a different URL at the end of the year and - if we can generate the interest - there will be a bear-pit forum where FReepers and FRSeepers can fight it out. For now, you can make use of the forums listed to the right.
The following are the forums "listed to the right":

Well I tried reading the latest goofy anti-FR site in order to see if I got honorable mention as being an FR sycophant, but my desktop filled up with so many pop-up ads that I had to bail. If I'm mentioned there at all, somebody give me a ping. I just didn't have the patience to slog through those pop-ups.

You're in good company. If they hate Bush, they hate you, and vice-versa.
Bush is doing something right, and they can't stand it. And you're doing something right, also.
At least we are defending their right to freedom of speech: they got their own website :o)
To: Jim Robinson
We must be doing something right to have so many Bush haters hating us so much. Mr. Robinson,
I haven't posted here very long. I followed the link to the "Free Republic Sucks" site you gave us, and found links to other sites. On one, called Antikooking, there are what is purported to be many of your posts which seem to indicate:
1. That you are a George Bush hater, and called him a "cokehead felon" and threatened to take up arms if he was elected.
2. That you didn't register as a Republican until after the 2000 election.
3. That you supported Harry Browne for President in 2000.
The posters on that site suggest that you only embraced Bush because it was in your financial interest to do so.
Is ANY of this true? If so, could you please reconcile all this with your current position on Bush?
I forgot to save a link to thread where I saw all this but can find one if you need it.

We should ask the moderator to change this title:
Since "some" hot air is created here; and a great deal more is dispersed here; and quite a bit of fresh air is "let in the room" here; and even more odorous aires are removed here from the liberal national press corpse's biased reporting......
I'd say this thread should be re-titled "Free Republic Blows."
