That's not what was reported in early reports. She went to leave (no sex had taken place), Kobe went nuts and attacked her is the claim. DA is not going to prosecute a case where she consented did it and objected to specific act.

And that is precisely when I would have freaked out, too. I'm happily married and everything but there's a few things I simply will not do. Ever. And this is one of them. I really, really don't get what it is about this particular activity that guys would want to do with women. And I don't get why a man would force a woman to submit to it when she clearly doesn't want to do it, even if she's fine with everything else. And I don't see why a woman would want to do it. It's designed for egress, not ingress, for crying out loud.

I've been keeping an open mind about Kobe's culpability, but if this is true, there is NO WAY I believe she consented to anal sex within practically two minutes of knowing him. NO WAY! If she were a prostitute, yeah, sure. But a one-night stand? Nope. Couldn't believe it. I'm assuming most women (black or white or whatever) wouldn't agree to do this with a stranger (and only a few with someone who they've known a while). So, if that is what went down between the two of them, I think he's going to be convicted of rape. Ick! (sorry for passing any moral judgments here on what two consenting adults may do, but the thought of the act personally kind of grosses me out . . . beyond the gross-out factor, I can imagine that it must be quite painful). If true, can anyone imagine the defense arguing she consented to such? I can't imagine one juror buying that (even if the trial is moved to a different venue with a black juror or two . . . he'd probably be convicted).
