Or the Democrats, or the Kerry camapign. Besides the fact that they're wrong on nearly every issue. And when they're almost right, they find a way to alienate those who might agree.
Nearly all of the post-election analysis has been of three sorts (add a fourth if you believe the election was stolen). First, the US just has too many morons from "Jesus-land." Second, the Kerry campaign and the Democrats had no message. Third, the Kerry campaign and the Democrats had poor messengers. While all three of these critiques may be true, I can't figure out how a non-moron from Jesus-less land can convince her/himself that the world is now ending. How much better off could s/he be with a lousy messenger, with no message, leading morons? What has particularly struck me in the aftermath of the election, is how little any of the so-called "issues" matter to Kerry supporters now that the election is over.

Actually, the Dems and their willing allies in the MSM and Hollywood/Europe expected to win easily, so they had it scheduled to just cruise over the next few weeks mutually congratulating each other.
Sort of like being deer in the headlights, they now are sitting there in their offices, staring at their computers in disbelief and just not knowing what to say.
Which only means the rest of us get a rest, as Hysterium said at the end of 'A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum' for what must feel like just the same reasons.
I kinda like it this way, myself, but then I was down to Lowes, the Carpet Factory Outlet and Sherwin Williams, so whatda I know, eh? :)
