Liberal Lunatic of the day (4/25/2005) Moby
Liberal Lunacy ^ | 4/25/2005 | Beckwith

Pop star Moby, in an interview with Planet Out, a publication geared toward homosexuals, says he'd do everything he could to make his future child homosexual should the singer ever have a family.  The musician, who is not "gay," was lamenting so-called homophobia in society when he suggested his future child should be raised to be a homosexual.

Moby continued with, "As a matter of fact, I was talking to my friend Laura, who sings on my record, and we're both getting to the point where we want to start families," Moby said.  "We're convinced that if we have children, we're going to do everything in our power to make them gay.  Like maybe drinking a lot of extra soy milk while she's pregnant, or anything that would work to make that happen.  I'd just rather have a really sharp, interesting, smart gay son than some big dumb hetero meathead."

Moby concludes with, "I ask this because Christ, at least in the New Testament that I have, never mentioned homosexuality, so we thus don't know what Christ might have thought about homosexuality.  Why is the church so up in arms about an issue that Christ never seemed to have mentioned?  And why does the church so routinely gloss over so many of the issues that Christ actually did talk about?  It just makes no sense to me."

Moby, the dorky techno musician and vegan, is your basic fatuous liberal moonbat.  Unlike musicians of another generation, The Beatles, the Stones, Hendrix and others, who could actually play music and write provocative lyrics, Moby relies on outrageous behavior and absurd statements, like the ones above, to make up for his poor musicianship.

Known for his loony-left statements, he once called President Bush a "big, fat f---ing liar" at a New York event hosted by the MoveOn.org crowd and has disparaged Tom DeLay, Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity and Newt Gingrich as being "immoral right wingers."

Accused of being anti-American, the demi-talented Moby has said, "First I must make something clear: I believe I’m a New Yorker and not an American.  I’m very proud of the city.  I see the Big Apple as part of Europe.  New York isn’t America.  95 percent of the people living in Manhattan voted for John Kerry.  So when I come across a foreign person criticizing the President, I’m relatively unperturbed."

The piercings crowd eat up these comments and purchase his recordings, which is, after all, the reason for these unbelievably stupid comments in the first place.

Not true. Moby has plenty of easily recognizable hits. For starters there's........uhm....the song about the thingy...or was it the one about the girl......oh, forget that one, what about....uhhhhhhhhh...you know, that song that that other famous person sang on.....wait, wait, it's coming to me......

Don't know about his sexual preference but any son of Moby's is bound to be a scrawny meathead for starters.

Arguments from silence are not valid. Jesus didn't mention bestiality; is bestiality then okay? Jesus didn't mention kidnapping; is kidnapping now okay?

Jesus upheld the Law of Moses ("I came not to abolish the Law, but to fulfill it ... not one jot or tittle shall pass away until all is fulfilled ....").

In addition, the Apostle Paul is a writer of Scripture, and he definitely mentioned homosexuality. If you believe the entire New Testament is the Word of God, then homosexuality definitely got condemned in it (yes, gays have a way of explaining all that away too).

It figures that he'd want a homosexual son since his music sucks too!

That this was published, and not jumped all over, just shows what the homosexual movement is all about.

Homosexuality is a choice. It's not a choice like "Wendy's or Burger King" but it's still a choice. The choice is to continue to live in a delusion or seek treatment.

If we were compassionate towards homosexuals, we wouldn't talk fatuously about "homophobia," we'd help them get treatment.

Shalom.

Christ never mentioned streaking. Christ never mentioned urinating in public. Christ never mentioned child abuse or spouse abouse.

Some things shouldn't have to be mentioned.

Shalom.

Thanks for the reply. I like the law of Moses approach.

I forgot to answer the other part of your question. You asked, "Why is the Church so up in arms about [homosexuality]?"

I don't view homosexuality as the mother of all sins, but as the child of all sins. It is near the very end of the narcissistic and self-destructive nature of humanity. It is the last chance to save yourself before you descend into the ultimate of "if it feels good, do it" and "to deny our baser impulses is to deny who we are."

The above describe bestiality, not humanity. Humanity doesn't say, "If it feels good, do it." Humanity says, "If it is right, do it." Humanity doesn't say, "To deny our baser impulses is to deny who we are." Humanity says, "To deny our baser impulses is to become who we are."

C.S. Lewis documented this all very well in his book, The Abolition of Man. If the moral slide isn't halted now, the abolition of man is complete. It may have been too late on 5/17/04 when the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts created a law allowing homosexual marriage.

Shalom.
