Amnesty's Insanity

Any reasonable person must wonder how a moral equivalence can be drawn between one prison on a U.S. military base and a system of Siberian forced-labor camps.....I want to take umbrage at the threats of William Schultz, the head of the U.S. chapter of Amnesty International. An IPS article described the scene:

"It is the height of hypocrisy for the U.S. government itself to use the very torture techniques that it routinely condemns in other countries.....When the U.S. government then calls upon foreign leaders to bring to justice those who commit or authorise human rights violations in their own countries, why should those foreign leaders listen?"

How could any reasonable person suggest that the United States uses the same torture techniques that are employed by the people we are hunting down?

How many Guantanamo detainees have been beheaded by the US Government and had their decapitated bodies dumped into a river? How many have been attacked with Sarin, VX and Mustard gas? How many have had their tongues, eyes and ears cut out? How many have been killed with car bombs on street corners, suicide bombs in cafes and grenade launchers in crowded bazaars.....

I can't stand the pointless 'moral equivalency' arguments that hyper-sensitive people make. I totally agree with the line about how ridiculous some people can be: "To many around the world, pictures of a few American soldiers on the night shift putting a naked Iraqi man on a leash is the "moral equivalent" of Baathists electrocuting a naked Iraqi man through his urethra, then cutting off his testicles and shoving them into his mouth before beheading him with a saw knife."

What really disturbs me more is that the MSM supports what Amnesty says. It is terrorist in nature. The MSM have no idea what damage they have done to the US. One day, and it will have to happen, both the MSM and Amnesty will pay for their traitorous type of actions.
