Has anyone wondered why the ACLU has not filed a suit to stop the government from paying for Qurans and prayer rugs for Muslim prisoners at Guantanamo Bay?
If the government were paying for Bibles and rosary beads, the ACLU would be raising hell.
I think this demonstrates that the ACLU is not really concerned about the separation of church and state (in this case, mosque and state). It is concerned only about the influence of Christianity, because it knows Christianity stands in the way of its real goal, the same goal of other leftists, which is the supremacy of the state.

Good read! Thanks!
Ping!
"I think this demonstrates that the ACLU is not really concerned about the separation of church and state ..."
Point well taken, Mr. Haller.
The ACLU isn't against religion - the ACLU is against Christians - and sometimes Jews.
All other religions - Scientology, Islamofacisim are A-OKAY with the ACLU.
I'll do a better job of keeping you freepers informed on my blog updates, but I'm in the middle of vacation...just got online tonight at my mother in laws house for a few minutes. But I sure wish you would all just bookmark me and give me a daily visit of support, thanks everyone, Jay
You know how hard it was to search through old emails to find the ping list to use here? Took forever. I've got it saved in word at home and work.
Thanks for the ping Jay, and for taking the time while on vacation to look for your ping list.
Enjoy the rest of your vacation!
Is anyone petitioning our government to stop using our tax dollars to buy Qurans and prayer rugs for the detainees? And to confiscate the ones they have, sell them, and return the money to the national funds? Should be done.
Thanks for this ping......
Public Expression of Religion Act of 2005 (FREEPERS stop taxpayer funding of ACLU)

Our job now is to contact our representatives to support the PERA bill, and to spread awareness of this bill. At the very least the ACLU should not be funded by our tax dollars. Let's close up this loophole--it's a good start.
