What happens when mainstream media folk, after years of seething over conservative talk radio's success, discover its alternative got diverted federal funds, earmarked instead for inner-city youth and seniors?
The answer, with one key exception: they pretend it didn't happen.
Yes, only because of a New York Daily News tidbit do we know how Bronx-based Gloria Wise Boys and Girls Club nearly shut down major programs recently, because almost $500,000 in federal grant money was instead diverted to Air America's liberal radio network.

Air America, NPR, what's the difference? :-)
Seriously, though, this is disgusting even for the Libs. They screw "the chirren" in an effort to prop a dying radio network that is little differnt from NPR. I guess that Cadre Franken needs more doughnut money.

This needs to be shouted from the rooftops, or in this day and age, maybe I should say, "from the Ipods".
One way or another, the unwashed masses, need to know about this one.

"Cohen also happened to serve on Gloria Wise's board and convinced club leader and community activist Charles Rosen to "invest" at least $480,000 in the upstart political talk network.
...snip...
The money, intended as a loan to be repaid with interest, was agreed to by Rosen after being sold on the idea of stretching their grant money further, according to one account. Part of the deal included promotional consideration of Gloria Wise's activities on Air America's programs." The grant money was loaned to err America? Isn't that illegal? This wasn't a grant awarded to err America, it went to the proper recipient who then did something that has to be outside the bounds of the grant. If it was Federal money, then the FBI should be investigating.

It probably is illegal. But Liberals have no respect for the concept of property - public or private.
This is why they feel it is fine to steal your house for the public good and give your property to their friends (contributors).
They often convert private property to public use and public property to private use.
