A poster on campus here at UCLA.
Last time I checked, it was the government that was in charge of disaster preparation, levees, and the like...
I would sooner put my trust in Adam Smith's invisible hand than in the competence and good will of some civil servant...
Maybe levees and so on are a public good that must be provided by government, but whether or not that's true, it's still unfair of SPARK to blame capitalism when capitalism hasn't been tried.

Wrong! No one would ever accuse a city which had 1,700 policemen on its payroll, but only 1,200 in uniform of being run like a for profit business. I guess the management paradigm was Fat Six Sigma!
