If there is one trait in Al Gore that is to be admired, it is persistence. After losing the election he has tirelessly spread the word about global warming to anyone who would listen. Several times I have written about Al's rants, but this one takes the cake.
In a visit 'down under' Gore compares the refusal of the US and Australia to sign the Kyoto pact to Neville Chamberlain who did everything he could to appease the Nazis in hopes they would not attack Britain.
According to Gore, "I don't want to diminish the threat of terrorism at all, it is extremely serious, but on a long-term global basis, global warming is the most serious problem we are facing."

Is Gore aware that Bush got Australia, India, and China to sign a treaty that makes Kyoto moot? Pulled the rug out from beneath it by abandoning its static solutions.
One can't deny that there's some degree of global warming (e.g., melting glaciers), but to blame it on human beings is the height of arrogance.
Mother Nature is much bigger than Al Gore.
Nazis! Is there anything they can't be compared to?
Or something.
I think that was orange juice?
And just try and think what our response to 911 would have been under the Goremeister!
"Water builds the heat in Europe"
These two articles are key to understanding what is really going on in this largely phony issue. It has always been preposterous to claim that CO2 is the cause of "Global Warming" and that man made CO2 is choking the atmosphere. CO2 is currently at .06% concentration in the atmposhere. Water Vapor (H2O) is 300 times more abundant in the atmosphere, and is thereby a far, far more important factor in any "Greenhouse Gas" warming model than C02 could ever be. And now it is clear that the Sun's radiation is quite variable, and its current increasing radiation should completely account for any measurable "Global Warming". One thing that the reader will have to decide for himself, is just what Al Gore's real motivations are, as enlightenment and wisdom seem to be completely out of the question.
