Clarice Feldman at American Thinker points to an ultra-left affilliated group calling itself Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity, frequently abbreviated as VIPS, as the behind-the-scenes allies of the MSM in fanning the flames of the Plamegate scandal.

Should I tighten my tinfoil hat, or is there some shred of truth to this? It is pretty obvious that our intelligence services are quite left wing and are gunning for Bush, but is there actually an organization among them that overt?
It may be of interest to some folks here that one of the things that complicated the Madrid bombings was that Aznar had realized that the Spanish intelligence services were stuffed with devoted left-wingers (in addition to being inefficient and laden with patronage appointees) and had reorganized them - and immediately after the bombings, all the disgruntled lower level staffers whom he had left in place did everything possible to sabotage him and his party. They leaked, they called the press personally, they lost evidence and couldn't account for "informants" (some of whom were the actual bombers).
Bush should seriously watch his back.

The VIPS group , among other things, appeared prominently in the 2004 video Uncovered which co-starred Kerrys national security adviser Rand Beers and Joseph Wilson. Members of the VIPS in that film include ex-CIA agents Larry Johnson, Ray McGovern, and Mel Goodman, along with others like Scott Ritter and Carters feckless DCI Stansfield Turner and the UKs clueless lefty Clare Short. Also in Uncovered was David Corn, who oddly enough is the first reporter (July 14, 2003, The Nation) to have said Plame was an undercover agent of the CIA. He has never disclosed his source of that knowledge nor has he been brought before the special prosecutors grand jury and it certainly seems that he knew this from personal knowledge.
Larry Johnson was in CIA training sessions with Plame and admits to having been close to her for decades.Uncovered was underwritten by Soros funded MoveOn and played at Kerry meet ups during the campaign.
Its long past time to Uncover the stars of that movie and this Plame sideshow.

There's little question that this group is anti-Bush and is trying to help Joe Wilson.
To: Venator
This isn't news. This group has been after the Bush Administration for a couple of years now.

Those following the CIA leak story will chuckle at this "new" news...

"He (Corn) has never disclosed his source of that knowledge"
Everyone thinks it was Wilson. When is Corn going to be asked to testify?
To: popdonnelly

Most real intelligence officer's work for not political view's but for the nation all their life's. these left wing political so called agents are putting other's in danger.
I have worked for several country's and never exposed other agent's it cheap to attack a country's leader in power and not a very clever thing to do while at war.
they are not intelligence officers who are worth any thing when they start getting into political views before doing the real job and are slaves to political masters who can't and will not rule a country as they and the ring masters can not be trusted.
vote mr bush as attacking the leader is attacking CIA and other departments be loyal and allow the gutter press to be gutter press attacking your country like the unloyal intelligence officers feeding leaks of non importance.

It's part of the job covering up thing's. let me tell you some of the low life thing's a real intelligence agent live's with. the information is covered up?yes!
But do the public want to know that to protect them the information from real spies may of killed 100's of other people in military action?
to live with that it as bad as being a bad guy but to see good political leader's like george bush attacked by cheap reporters show's to me some CIA and FBI officer's need to think in America what other member's world wide do protecting the American people and their friends.
cheap press story's are nothing but cheap press story's and show the other side have nothing to offer to the American people. www.glen-jenvey.com
a real spy does not speak out unless he protect's and Mr bush is a friend to the free world are the one's who feed the press half secret's?

Jack Cashill's article: [Just whom does Joseph Wilson work for? Posted: November 19, 2005. 1:00 a.m. Eastern. © 2005 WorldNetDaily.com] is long and thorough. What's wrong with Fitz? Wilson is such a blabbermouth, it doesn't take much to get the beat on this thing.
