I was shocked, stunned even, when I read that NJ Democrats want to institute a tax on public water. I thought Democrats abhorred taxes--just kidding.

They want a four cent tax on every 1000 gallons used. Senator Robert Smith of Piscataway is quoted as saying, "It's a very tiny tax."
