The whole point of the post was that there first was a "Miami Herald" article that didn't really give us a motive why this girl would suddenly say these things and shoot this guy. "The Sentinel" gave us a motive or possible motive and that was that this guy was indecisive about whether abortion was right or wrong. The guy should be equally culpable for the baby. When I said I could hear "her" now, I was imagining that she was probably angry about his inability to own up to the decision they both made and obviously she was suffering more emotionally over.

"It takes two to tango", and that although she chose to be angry, I imagined that it may have been possible that he could of helped diffuse the situation and helped put her in a more resourceful state.

His friend implied that the guy was against abortion but felt "it was the right thing to do". People that don't stand for something stand for nothing. In other words it's quite possible he was being "wishy washy" again after the abortion and not willing to take equal responsibility for what they both chose to do.

Yes, it is quite possible that he pressured her to abort. It may even be possible that he got another girl pregnant prior to this one and that girl suprised him and decided on her own to have an abortion. If he's stupid, a guy like that could easily interpret that to mean he doesn't have to take responsibility for the children he brings into the world. That kind of father is then likely to put other women into the same trouble. And so once again abortion just leads to more abortions.
