Means to an End

Do the means really ever justify the ends? Is it okay for Democrats to add stowaway items to a bill (Iraqi-Withdrawal plan) meant to deal with our troops in order to get their topical wants passed? I’m not even sure they mean well, but even so - it seems sneaky to me and the focus gets lost among non relevant issues. I know the line between right and wrong can get faded sometimes in politics, but this just seems childish given the sensitive topic.

Welcome to FR.

"The end justifies the means" is an excuse often used by the most evil minds in history.
And also used by the Tammany Hall demonrats.
