The End Of Global Warming
The Virginian ^ | 3/22/2007 | Moneyrunner

Posted on 03/23/2007 4:10:53 AM PDT by moneyrunner

When public opinion changes, the change is often dramatic. Why? Because the chattering classed don’t want to be caught on the wrong side of history and when they see that the cause they have been espousing is becoming unpopular, they will try to run to the head of the crowd marching in a new direction.

In other words, the people who tell us what to think are deathly afraid of being in the minority. Couple their juvenile fears of being left out of the ”in-crowd” with a truly staggering ignorance of any smattering of science, or even math, and you have people who can be led to believe in virtually anything by anyone.

Which explains their willingness to advocate the death of the planet by global cooling in the 1970s to the death by warming in this decade.

And now we see the beginning of another shift. This time it’s cause by climate scientists who were perfectly willing to take grant money from the government to prove the politically popular anthropomorphic global warming thesis become a little worried that ridiculous charlatans like Al Gore are making claims that make them look ridiculous.

Look, Al Gore may have been a moderately successful politician, but this drop-out from the seminary and law school is making climate science an object of ridicule.

The icing on this particular cake is the indisputable fact that other planets in our solar system are also experiencing rises in temperature. It cannot be claimed by anyone not wearing a tinfoil hat that Mars is warming due to human activity. The literally only thing that the Earth and Mars have in common regarding temperature is the sun. The sun being the cause of global warming and cooling cycles is indisputable and uncontroversial...

After 15 years of nonstop global warming propaganda, there seems to be more people finally willing to voice some decent to this much flawed theory.

That would explain evolutionism and a couple of other things along with "Global Warming"....

I've noticed that liberals are becoming much less willing to talk about the Goracle and global warming. They wish they could believe him but even liberal fantasies have limits.

While I hop eyou are correct, the reportedly breathless display by "Professor" Boxer to "Dr." Gore's testimony suggests that the battle is far from over.

Haven't we sent bunches of probes and landers there and the other warming planets? NASA's fault !

Regardless of Prof Boxer's breathlessness over the presentation of Biology 101 "D" Algore, Sen Inhofe skewered the Church of Global Warming's Chief Prophet Algore.

The prophet failed to call or raise when Inhofe wanted him to indicate that he (Algore) was willing to make sacrifices like he was asking the rest of the common herd to make.

Kind of a Sad Sack performance on the part of Hollywood Al.

And when did the chief prophet put on all that weight? My gosh, he looked worse than bloated. And old.

Alas, those who wanted Gore skewered noticed. However, the true believers and the general audience probably did not notice. We have to cut the scientific legs from under Gore - and this means looking hard the new IPCC technical reports.

It is a global tax on mainly capitalistic countries. Without these carbon neutral, blah blah blah fees the world will probably go into a cooling trend anyway, but with this tax they can say man made a difference. The fat cats will line their pockets just like they do with other aid money and the tax will never be taken away because of the fear that global warming will return.

Next.
