Glenn Beck's website has an inconsistent interview with Rudy Giuliani
on illegal immigration.
First, Guiliani says illegal immigration isn't illegal.
GLENN: Right. But isn't illegal immigration a crime in and of itself?
GIULIANI: No.
GLENN: Should it be?
GIULIANI: Should it be? No, it shouldn't be because the government wouldn't be able to prosecute it. We couldn't prosecute 12 million people. We have only 2 million people in jail right now for all the crimes that are committed in the country, 2.5 million. If you were to make it a crime, you would have to take the resources of the criminal justice system and increase it by about 6. In other words, you'd have to take all the 800,000 police, and who knows how many police we would have to have.
GIULIANI: My solution is close the border to illegal immigration.

Not a prayer for my vote if he can't grasp a simple concept like immigration laws.
As for not prosecuting crime because "there are too many of them"
Now that's just plain scary...
Rooty Toot is wrong on abortion, wrong on homosexuality, wrong on the Second Amendment and wrong on illegal aliens. For that matter, if his attitude on crime is that “there are just too many of them to prosecute” then he’s wrong on crime too.
How many Muslims in the world that want to kill us, guess, according to rudy,it's time we sent up the white flag.

(a) Improper time or place; avoidance of examination or inspection; misrepresentation and concealment of facts Any alien who
(1) enters or attempts to enter the United States at any time or place other than as designated by immigration officers, or
(2) eludes examination or inspection by immigration officers, or
(3) attempts to enter or obtains entry to the United States by a willfully false or misleading representation or the willful concealment of a material fact,
shall, for the first commission of any such offense, be fined under title 18 or imprisoned not more than 6 months, or both, and, for a subsequent commission of any such offense, be fined under title 18, or imprisoned not more than 2 years, or both.
This is a laughing stock from flyover country out here....
