I'm disappointed in him too. Taking the base for granted is NOT the way to win the election. The Democrats had no problem meeting with the gay lobby. Yet here Republicans shun family values voters like the plague. That's political self-immolation. If the GOP front runners dread having to take tough questions from the base, how are they going to stand up to the Democrats? Its a very good question.
