Muslim terrorist leaders threatened to forcibly convert Britney Spears and Madonna to Islam and warned if they resist, their heads would be cut off for "spreading Satanic culture," according to a new book released today.

The threats, recorded on audio, come as Madonna is due to arrive in Israel Wednesday to celebrate the Jewish new year with fellow Kabbalah practitioners.

"If I meet these whores I will have the honor – I repeat, I will have the honor – to be the first one to cut the heads off Madonna and Britney Spears if they will keep spreading their satanic culture against Islam," said Muhammad Abdel-Al, spokesman and senior leader of the Popular Resistance Committees terror organization.

The Committees, largely based in the Gaza Strip, has carried out thousands of rocket attacks against Jewish population centers and scores of shootings and bombings. It is suspected of bombing a U.S. convoy in Gaza in 2003 and took credit for a rocket attack yesterday that hit an Israeli military base wounding 69 – the largest casualty number of any Palestinian rocket attack.

Jeff, in stating that you would defend to the death, if they were under attack by jihadists, two women for whom you have little or no respect because you would feel called to do so despite their degeneracy, you yourself are illustrating perhaps the most striking difference between Islam and Christianity.

Islam demands adherence to ‘the law’ as put forth in the Koran – not only adherence from those who call themselves Muslims, but adherence from non-Muslims (‘infidels’) as well, without which violence and even death is to be the punishment.

Christianity, on the other hand, acknowledges that all men have the gift of free will. We are free to chose our beliefs, and, indirectly our eternal fate. Those who call themselves ‘Christians’ still retain their free will, and may choose to live lives that do not reflect Christ (in which case, only the Lord can truly determine the genuineness of their faith). And, according the Christian doctrine, no one must be forced to believe in Him. We are to witness and evangelize, but all men, by virtue of their free will, may choose to believe in the Son of God … or not.

You acknowledge the two women’s ‘right’ to choose to lead the lives they have chosen, but you also acknowledge your responsibility to defend their right to make that choice – and to exercise their free will without suffering punishment from those whose religion does not believe in such.

Islam, by nature, is repressive. Christianity, on the other hand, provides a well-lit path, but, by definition, is founded on the belief that man is free to choose his pathway in life, without coercion.

Christianity 'recruits' by example. Islam 'recruits' by bloodshed and coercion.

You're welcome. I hope we never forget or lose sight of exactly what it is we are defending...liberty, free will, free conscience. Those are God-given rights, and I will die defending them from the likes of these Jihadist tyrants...because that is all they are, just the next in a series of tin horns who want to enforce their will at the point of a sword.

While I may not hold much personal respect for these two women, they are free and US citizens. Like Jeff Head has stated so eloquently in several posts it is several things that should inspire all of us to defend these ladies, despite our personal feelings. One is they are fellow citizens and two they have 'free will.' Neither of which permits us to condemn them.

All that aside though, my main point and/or question is does not this proclamation constitute a fatwa being issued on these ladies?

As Islamic scholar Ziauddin Sardar explains, "A fatwa is simply a legal opinion based on religious reasoning" and any Muslim can issue a fatwa.

Based on what I read from this article, these ladies and by extension all citizens of the US should be concerned at the issuance of such a proclamation from Muhammad Abdel-Al, spokesman and senior leader of the Popular Resistance Committees. Unlike Theo Van Gogh who was murdered in the streets for his attempt to reveal the true islam, these ladies are simply living their lives. I truly hope these ladies understand the threat that has been placed on their lives.

The American left will not grasp this at all. Even if they (islamists) carry out the threat and either kill the ladies or convert them, leftists won't perceive the threat to the rest of the nation.
