Clinton Touts New Slogan: America, Here's Your Change by Scott Ott for Scruplefarce — Buoyed by “a great night for Democrats” in Iowa, Sen. Hillary Clinton’s campaign took the enthusiasm generated by her strong third-place finish into New Hampshire where she hopes voters will expand her party’s mandate for change.
The Clinton campaign unveiled it’s 11th new slogan in as many weeks — a phrase designed to tap the populist groundswell that swept Sen. Barack Obama and former Gov. Mike Huckabee to victory in Iowa.
“I’m here to identify with the little people, who don’t have $8 million book deals,” Sen. Clinton told a near-capacity crowd at the Orange Julius in the Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua. “The voters in Iowa said they wanted change. And like my friend Rashid over there at the cash register, I’m saying ‘America, here’s your change’.”
Campaign insiders said the new slogan, reminiscent of former President Bill Clinton’s successful 1992 campaign mantra ‘It’s the economy, stupid’, was chosen after focus groups and internal polling showed that it connected better with voters than the proposed alternative: ‘It’s the economy, Mrs. Stupid.’

Scrappleface’s ideas are funnier than their actual stories. The newest is “Obama Declines Kerry Endorsement,” where the headline is funnier than anything in the story. They need better writers, though the ideas are solid.
Glen Beck on radio yeaterday was funny on the change issue:
“I’m going to be our President of change if you elect me for a change. Change will be the theme of my admin as change itself leads to more change that changes the entire changing America that needs change in these changing times...
At the end of Special Report with Brit Hume they showed a video montage of all the democrats saying change in the last debate. It made them look like a bunch of clowns.

Rusty Humphries on the air last night slew me with his comparison of the candidates to homeless people crying out for change.
Why is this in Breaking News?
Yup! The change we need is to remove the RATS from power in the Senate and House and elect a true conservative President. Tall order, but that is the only real change we need to help America survive.
“Change” is just RAT-speak for “get the Republicans outta power”...
