I don't know anyone who doesn't like Fred Thompson (other than trolls, whose opinions never count), and the reason I've seen Republican primary voters give for not voting for Fred Thompson is that he didn't come to their state and do a silly little monkey dance to prove how much he wanted to be president. This makes these people to dumb to live.
Reportedly, Fred Thompson will have an announcement tomorrow about his further plans, and I think he should stay in the race. Otherwise, what's our option? To throw our half-hearted support behind Romney? We might as well have one actual conservative in the race to at least remind people what a Republican primary should be about.
Also, it will give us more time to plan our riot.

I am praying Fred stays in until after Super Tuesday. He’ll see support from real conservatives there not back-stabbed by the current crop of RINO states. Only 5 of 50 states so far why drop out?
Fred needs to be Romney’s VP. It’s that simple.

The reverse would be fine too. Reality is, Mitt has the money and the momentum. Fred as VP would shore up Romney on the conservative side and help keep Romney from straying to the left. That’s a win-win.
Rudy and John are more conservative than Mitt. I don’t want any of them.

Before everybody pulls the Panic Button, let’s look at few FACTS...
Fred should NOT pull out before Feb 5.
Besides Romney, Fred is the best finncial position of any candidate right now. McCain, Rudy, and Huck are running on fumes for cash at this moment.
NO ONE can afford to run in all 24 states at the same time.
This opens the door for FRED to make inroads in Tennessee, Georgia, Alabam, and Illinois....
Illinois is WIDE OPEN because the Dems and Independents will be falling all over themselves to vote for OBAMA.
The repubs are most likely heading for a brokered Convention, anyway, and every FRED Delegate there gives conservatism a bigger voice in the eventual selection....
Only if you promise me that Romney has incurable cancer and 13 months to live.
I would accept Mitt as VP -— give him 8 years to make up for saying this:

Rush believes that Mitt had a change of heart. I do not. He is still a global warming nut, as are Mike, Rudy and John. He’s bad or a chameleon (liar?) on so many issues. All of them make me sick. How could GOP voters be so naive, so stupid, in choosing their candidates? Could it be that Americans are so soft today that they need pandering before they warm to a pol? The difference between the Dems and Reps today is the difference between Marxists and Socialists, if Fred drops out. I’m not sour grapes. Our candidates SUCK! And everyone who follows the campaign closely KNOWS that I speak the truth.

Mitt’s pandering to the auto workers with billions of tax money bailout proved what we all really knew all along -— Mitt decided not to repeat his father’s mistake of running as a liberal -— so he pretends to be a conservative.

Every buck I made was by FIRST LAYING DOWN MY HARD EARNED MONEY to invest.
You see there are two types of spending. One is buying depreciating assets, the other is buying potentially appreciating assets.
If a business such as the auto business the $20 Billion Romney is talking about is NOT GIVE AWAY CHECKS TO LAID OFF workers. It is the 2nd type of spending also known as investing for future profits. The auto industry will benefit from new research in many areas such as alternate sources of power, increasing fuel efficiency etc.
But unless you have made money by investing, you may never grasp the concept.
