PART VI - JUST SAY NO: To John McCain -- and not a PENNY to the RNC this election cycle

PART SIX -- in my JUST SAY NO SERIES: KeyWord: JustSayNo2JohnMcCain

.... The focus of PART SIX in my "Just say no" series is on the RNC itself.. I have recieved several solicitations/phone calls from various RNC fund raising efforts, Have You?

I would like to encourage you to JUST SAY NO - To the RNC this cycle... I would encourage you to send any contributions you have made in the past to the RNC to CONSERVATIVE candidates for the U.S. House and the U.S. Senate. I know this will take extra time/effort, but we need to send the message that WE <-- the conservative BASE <-- SHALL NOT BE IGNORED by our party.... and IMHO a vote for John McCain will DESTROY the conservative base of the RNC...

In response to the FReepers who think they should "HOLD THEIR NOSE" and Vote FOR McCain.. I ask you to reconsider this option, unless you want to completely DESTROY the two-Party system and move our party so far to the left that the base is completely ignored in ALL FUTURE ELECTIONS...

Why? He is telling the truth. There are other threads for you to read if you do not like this one.

I always read what you post (guess I’m on your ping list because it shows up in my new posts thing?) even if I don’t reply. I’ve learned much from FR. Thanks.

That is outrageous. One of many reasons not to vote for McCain.

While I would not be shocked if he chose a Democrat for VP, I doubt he will. Tom Ridge and Lindsay Graham have been mentioned. I expect it will be somebody who adores illegal aliens and CFR.

“Tom Ridge and Lindsay Graham have been mentioned.”

Yikes, two moderates, and Tom Ridge is also pro-abortion.

I also read where Senator Thune’s name was under consideration. He’s a good choice, which is why Laura Ingraham campaigned for him when he won the senate seat.

Duncan Hunter would be PERFECT, but I guess that’s setting my expectations too high.

We need more politicians such as Hunter and Tancredo.

Copied from thread #5..........

You certainly won't be better off with the judges "turn em all loose" Obama unleashes on this country and the SCOTUS.

Which is PRECISELY why the congressional races are CRITICAL.... the POTUS can't put a judge in with the ADVISE and CONSENT of the Senate... ca-mon folks we need to quit preaching all this "vote for McCain because the other guy is WORSE" <---- garbage....

Just about the time that Huckabee dropped out of the race, I happened to have dinner with our state Republican Party Chairman, who told me he expected that the grassroots efforts he'd previously seen on behalf of Republican candidates was going to be particularly critical in this election cycle.

Too bad, I told him: it just became pretty well dead certain that this was going to be a repeat of Bush I's reelection campaign after he broke his *no new taxes* pledge and gave us his semiauto import ban by executive order in 1989. Between throwing away those five to ten million votes, and those drained from him by the campaign of Ross Perot, for whom about one American in five cast their vote, Bush didn't stand a chance.

And that, my dinner companion told me, was why the Republicans running with McCain needed all the help they could get, boith in getting out the vote and with hard-to-find campaign contributions.

And you can count on me, I told him, to give the party back just exactly what we've gotten from them over the last eight years. Right here you go:

And then I gave him one of these, stood up and left, and let him pick up the check.

thanks for sharing that story... I can’t wait to get one of those postage paid envelopes from the RNC which I will promptly return with a BILL, requesting a REFUND of previous contributions..

David
