Urine and Blood Planned for Democrat Convention
My Pet Jawa ^ | April 18 | Mike Pechar

Posted on 04/19/2008 11:27:46 AM PDT by PghBaldy

Word has it that radical peace (?) groups are planning to create monumental tumult during the August Democrat National Convention in Denver.

The goal is a media-frenzied series of public disturbances similar to the disorder which occurred in the 1968 Chicago Democrat Convention. However, the current plan is more extreme. They plan to throw bags of urine and blood on cops at the DNC protests. Pretty disgusting, eh?

Under the name ReCreate 68 and led by Ward Churchill supporter, Glenn Spagnuolo, the group wants to choreograph the actions of various anti-American, anti-capitalist and socialist throngs such as Code Pink, Food Not Bombs, Iraq Veterans Against the War, Green Peace, Scholars for Peace and Justice, and other radical festerings.

Maybe the police should take the week off. They probably wouldn’t want to be involved with these sorts of people, anyway.

In other words, they want the cops to smell like the candidates and delegates.

Not a new tactic. Pro-lifers were threatened with AIDS contaminated urine outside abortion clinics in the D.C. area in 1989-90 by members of the gay gang supporting the abortion industry.

Throwing blood and/or urine should constitute bio-warfare.
I hope the cops respond in kind.
No rubber bullets or water hoses.

While I don’t condone violent or offensive street actions, it should be recalled that the underlying reason for the ‘68 Chicago riots was Mayor Daley’s refusal to issue permits for rallies (through the legal process).

Instead, Daley relied on Chicago police to uphold orders (based on political posturing, rather than common sense), and some units went to the extreme of skull-cracking of innocents (McCarthy staffers) on an upstairs floor of the delegate’s hotel!

I agree completely. They should be charged with assault with a deadly weapon, or worse.

Not to worry. The mayor is already on record as not wanting to foment "violence." cops have already been told to stand down.

Nobody in their right mind wants to see violence. But how can he already say the police will stand down? If there are peaceful marches and protests, that’s one thing. But if there are mobs in the streets, how will they deal with that?

And what about if mobs get violent based on what happens in the convention hall? Suppose Billary twist enough arms to get Hillary the nomination. This could get ugly.

The cops in Denver are no joke . Sales of video recording devices should skyrocket . I hope no cops are injured , but this is going to make for great TV .

Do you think that we are seeing a potential return to that sort of thing because of the "free speech zones" the protesters are now often required to be in?

I do not want the cops to stand down.
I want them to meet this head on.
These liberal/communist/socialist scum need to understand in well ordered society that this will not be tolerated.
Let the cops meet them as they did in Chicago in ‘68.

Re: Not a new tactic. Pro-lifers were threatened with AIDS contaminated urine outside abortion clinics in the D.C. area in 1989-90 by members of the gay gang supporting the abortion industry.

I don't know about actual health hazard of "AIDS contaminated urine," but I do know that under no circumstances would I want either with AIDS or without on me, nor would I want to inhale it.

I can only verify one incident at one clinic in either 89 or 90. I witnessed a small perfume type atomizer bottle and I heard the statement by the perp holding it. An officer was informed, but since the pro-lifers were the only ones in violation of the law by blocking access to an abortion clinic, they were the bad guys. The report was dismissed since there was no implied threat to law enforcement or abortion clinic personnel.

Having had a secondary MOS in Nuclear, Biological & Chemical Defense some 30 years ago I was/am aware of spray as optimal method for delivery of various chemical and biological weapons.

Well, it will probably be the greatest show since 1968, anyway. I can hardly wait. I may even have to get together with friends and beer to watch it.

Let me repeat my first. At least I think that I've been the first to predict this.

It will be deemed to be the Denver police's fault. Whatever happens. It was a "police riot."

There. Exactly like 1968. Just a different city and this time the New Left members are inside and are the Party stalwarts. The more radical neo-New Left are the street rabble -- but soon to be Rat Party stalwarts in a just few years.

Go ahead and appoint a commission to study the violence. They can write their "police riot" findings while we're waiting for it to happen.

if they throw urine and blood the police should then respond appropriately. I hope the protestors know what they are doiong and prepared for a response.

the cops have not responded in kind for many years. due to litigation, i wish they would, put an end to these a-holes abusing the freedoms we enjoy.

With freedom comes responsibility not to abuse.

A lesson that protesters need to experience

Well, I would imagine if the cops have blood and urine thrown on them it might just push them over the edge. No one has a right to be subjected to that kind of lunacy. The protestors should think long and hard on this one. They just may be pushing the envelope.

On the re-create 68 website they have scheduled walks to identify locations of surveillance cameras around the Pepsi Center, various parks where protests can be held and the general downtown area. It is not clear if they want to destroy the cameras in advance or to be able to provoke police in front of the cameras. My guess is that they will try to provoke police out of camera view and then run into the camera field of view so only the police actions are recorded.
