It works so well for everyone who has it. Why on earth wouldn’t we want govt run health care?

I went to a health care debate a few weeks ago. The debater for “Medicare-Lite for All” said that we can cover everyone in this country without spending one more cent on health care than we do right now. The people cheered! No one questioned his premise and no one asked for an explanation of how adding hundreds of millions to Medicaid can happen without increasing costs. He spouted something that was so over the top impossible and the sheople swallowed it whole. Be afraid.

Hahahaha...that’s pretty funny.

What happens when all the MD’s in the country who don’t agree with that plan just stay at home? I don’t make any money on Medicare patients already...I doubt I would with Medicare-light either.

Think every MD in the country already out of training is going to just take a 40-50% paycut without doing something?

Not to mention that I, also a business owner, would probably immediately lay off half of my employees or more, as I strived to maintain MY income.

Nights? Weekends? Maybe I’ll come in if I know you...otherwise, forget it. For half the pay, I work half the hours I do now...which would work out be about 35-40 hours/wk. Mon-Fri, 0700-1530...except for Thursday afternoons so I can finally play golf on Men’s day at the Club.
