"...the notion that George W. Bush violated clearly established laws is based on hyperbolic ignorance. Implementation of the policies at issue, from the war in Iraq, to the NSA wiretap program, to waterboarding, had legitimate legal justification and were executed with the good faith belief, and without clear precedent to the contrary, that the Commander in Chief possesses the requisite authority. Well said. Liberalism relies on ignorance for their support. Ron Howard....shame on you!

They can have him. No love lost here.
Unfortunatey BoB and Pelosi are too smart to try that. What they may do is continue to have congress investigate GWB to keep his name in the news. Like 1984 and Animal Farm, they need people seeing GWBs smirking face to enrage them and keep them blindly following BoB. And it got them two elections, why not try for three. Unless someone else in our party takes over as the scapegoat, hard to imagine being in minority.

I say again, LBJ bugged Goldwater and
did not cover up as Nixon tried to do.
LBJ didn't have to cover up. Few in the MSM cared one whit and most of the rest cheered.

“... seems to think, like many on the left, that George Bush was not only a bad president but a lawbreaker ...”
That’s because the left, as typified by the Democratic Underground, whose members spy on this forum and demonstrate their “superiority” to conservatives by the regular use of vile language (for example, JimRob becomes RimJob), have made it a habit to wallow in ignorance, stupidity and hate.
