Obama Did Discuss Senate Seat with Blagojevich
LGF ^ | 12-10-08 | Charles Johnson

Posted on 12/10/2008 11:39:26 AM PST by SeafoodGumbo

Barack Obama has denied ever discussing his Senate seat replacement with Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich.

But that was apparently not true. A November 8th article at the KHQA website reports:

QUINCY, IL — Now that Barack Obama will be moving to the White House, his seat in the U.S. Senate representing Illinois will have to be filled.

Obama met with Governor Rod Blagojevich earlier this week to discuss it.

UPDATE at 12/10/08 11:17:50 am:

Another KHQA article on the meeting, from November 5th: Who will fill Obama’s senate seat?

CHICAGO, ILL. — Now that Barack Obama will be moving to the White House, his seat in the U.S. Senate representing Illinois will have to be filled.

That’s one of Obama’s first priorities today.

He’s meeting with Governor Rod Blagojevich this afternoon in Chicago to discuss it.

Fitzpatrick rolled up the investigation to avoid snagging Obama, Emmanuel and Axelrod. This country has become a corrupt joke. It seems like almost everyone if bought and paid for.

If the meeting took place after he resigned his Senate seat, then he was a private citizen. He is not President elect until the Electoral College votes on the 15th.

Point is: As a private citizen, he is as much subject to arrest and prosecution as any of us.

So the issue then revolves around what was said during the meeting. If Big Rod tried to bribe him, and he failed to report the attempted bribery to the authorities, isn’t there some federal law he violated, like failure to report a crime? Or conspiracy?

Huh, what? Oh, I must’ve been having a dream or something. What’s for dinner?

And, Durbin.

Maybe LGF has a little trouble recognizing the progression of a pathological liar.

If Obama can so blatently lie regarding this, he most likely has lied about other things, like maybe his US natural born citizenship.

Durbin and also Daley. Totally corrupt. the US DOJ is a joke too. Fitzpatrick could have cleaned house but they just go after these hapless governors who are in a joke job. The IL Governors are always small fries & sacrificial lambs. Daley controls everything in IL.

They own Fitzpatrick as well.

Fitzpatrick will never move on Obama, Emmaanuel, Axelrod or Daley. Blago is just a stooge and sacrificial lamb. He is small time.

Looks that way, doesn’t it? If he’ll sell his Senate seat, what else will he sell?

You're right. There's only 45 threads a day on the Obama birth certificate; we need many more.

Keep on in your loony quest, 9-11 truthers on the left, Ron Paulians on the right. This is a pretty good article about why ya'll should just drop it, but it won't matter.

Well, in the first place, I haven’t posted on too many threads about the BC issue.

That said, Obama is a liar and so are his cohorts. I would not be surprised if he isn’t a NB citizen.

At the same time, I have never felt the issue would go anywhere. Obama has cover. Sad, but true.

True, but he won't be able to bury all of his dirty dealings. Something has to catch up with him sooner or later, even with the media covering for him.
