We all feel a great deal of certainty that the media is in the tank for Obama and will go to great lengths to protect him. The scandal currently surrounding Governor Blagojevich is a perfect example of a story that is not being fully reported. I normally do not use vanity posts to get a message out but I think today is a very crucial day in determining how the Blagojevich scandal plays out. If Blagojevich stays in office it forces Lisa Madigan to take her best shot at removing Blago. This will be a very messy process and provides an opportunity for the best possible outcome for those of us who want to expose President Elect Obama as a fraud.
Please click on the link below to contact the office of the Illinois Governor and offer him your support. I have called twice this morning. In one call I emphasized that Governor Blagojevich is innocent until proven guilty. In my other call I went all conspiracy theory on the receptionist telling her that this whole thing smelled like a set up by the Governor's enemies.
The other link is to a really cool interactive website that will help you get up to speed on the different players in Chicago and specifically the relationships they have with our soon to be President.
Let Blago know we think he is innocent until proven guilty.
I agree with you; Blago ought to hold firm until absolutely forced to give up his office.
The last that I heard, Blago is daring folks to remove him from office. This is going to get more interesting.

Blago won’t go away easily. His governorship is about the only leverage he has beyond his information. He has to hang on to it as long as he can...

I completely agree but I think if we call in support it will inspire him to hang on longer. There are many people who claim to be his friends encouraging him to do the right thing and resign. I want him to know there is a wave of support behind him.
Why waste time writing about this. Obama can do whatever he wants. Please, write more stories about his puppies and how he likes to play basketball. Obama is Untouchable. He can buy houses with other peoples money and say it was a “bone headed” thing to do and ‘journalists’ could care less
Blago is arrogant enough to stay in office until he makes the deal he wants with Hussein. Silence for a “golden parachute.” And Fitz had better have someone start his car in the morning.

He has everything to lose if he walks away now as he will be in no position to bargain with anyone.
But, if he stays in, he controls Illinois and he won't be just another criminal. He will be the governor who maintains inside information on the OTHER CRIMINALS: Obama, Rezko, Daley, etc...
If he steps down now, he will be merely obeying Obama.
I say he should reject Obama's guidance, talk to the FBI and Justice Department and make Obama sweat it out.
Not really. Madigan (you can substitute Lisa for Michael and vice versa), lt. governor Pat Quinn, the entire Illinois House and Senate (except perhaps Senate president Emil Jones jr.), and the list goes on, including just about every Illinoisan there is (I'll except kids).
The problem is, the "what do you want" part is pretty restricted now. Nobody wants to be part of a wiretap sting...

This will certainly not take him out but it will weaken his administration much the way Whitewater weakened the Clinton Administration. Name one significant piece of legislation Clinton achieved in office. Lets keep Obama's lawyers busy defending him and keep them from devising socialist mandates. Let us undermine his credibility by exposing the truth about his seedy connections. Let us demonstrate that he is not a new kind of politician but just another smarmy hack from Chicago.
I say we turn this into a game of Truth or Dare.
