Ladies and Gentleman in this corner wearing the business tie and suit is CNN "Reporter" John Roberts, in the other corner we have accidental news story Joe the Plumber.
This morning on CNN the reporter and the plumber had some words about journalistic integrity. John the reporter defended his and indicated that Joe the Plumber deserved the unfair treatment he got from the media because he entered the political field by campaigning for McCain. Of course Roberts forgot to mention that the nastiness preceded Joe's participation in the campaign. And while Roberts defended his integrity, Joe wasn't armed with the facts that prove Robert's compromised his journalistic integrity throughout the campaign, you can read them, and the transcript of their exchange below:

It seems that John Roberts has quite a following amongst women. And he should since he has kept them in the sidelines throughout his 25+ year marriage. Apparently, a woman in Toronto has his love child. Julie McLeod a model/actress from the same town has been his muse since they were teens. There have been many others. Let us not forget the producer from CBS who went public on Page Six. Mr. Roberts has left a contrail in his past, but don’t worry fans it doesn’t seem like his wife really cares.
Media was and is completely biased, but after both McCain and Obama brought up Joe the Plumber a million times during the debate, I don’t see what’s wrong with digging up info on him.
But that doesn’t excuse the media for a million other problems
Why bother Joe. You are getting screwed from both ends of the pipe. The MSM is the PR firm for the Crats. The Pubs are in the tank for big biz. There are so many rules regulations taxes permits fees and forms nowaday we ain’t got a chance cept go underground. Pubs Crats they are all the sam PHOOEY!
It was really a dumb interview from the transcript and the vid. First Roberts is going on about whether it was a personal attack,(grow a thicker skin Roberts!) and then a lot of talk about the “under the bus” busienss. Sheeesh, little substance and poor format. Anytime a Con goes on it gets hostile. it’s all BS propaganda with the MSM.

He deserved UNFAIR treatment? Hell no!
He deserved FAIR treatment, but none of the MSM treatment was FAIR in this election campaign. It’s sickening.
So now we have the American Idol POTUS, who btw lost a runoff today to Putin in the battle of topless schmegeggies.
Joe’s life was being examined by the proctologists in the media BEFORE he began “campaigning”....which is inexcusable.
From the short video excerpt - Joe was far more erudite, composed and intelligent than the “professional propagandist” John Roberts. Roberts’ narcissism was exposed when Joe forced him to defend his leftwing bias.
Joe has got to be a closet FReeper. Gotta be...

Actually I retract that. They do care. But they pick status over fidelity or honesty and look the other way for the sake of their own reputations. The quintessential Stepford Wife.

The media was digging up information as soon as their Messiah slipped out the "spread the wealth" comment to Joe. This was well before Joe was brought onto the campaign trail.

I’ll tell you why it is wrong. Obama came to Joe’s house. They went to Joe’s yard, they asked if Joe had a question. Joe asked his question and the great one hemmed and hawed. Then the media went after Joe. This was before he campaigned for McCain.
Now let’s look at the other side. Obama didn’t tell us who paid for his college. Obama didn’t show us his transcripts. Obama was a druggie.
And the media sat in silence.
IMHO, “Joe the Plumber” should have remained an icon — a representation of the “common man”. Once he was dragged in front of the cameras as a living-breathing individual — the personal attacks were inevitable.
Better check the timeline on the facts before you authorize CNN sodomy on a private citizen. Welcome to FR; however, be advised, no one here cares about your random thoughts as quoted above. Bring something real, or just watch.
