The idea that avoiding civil unrest by ignoring the Birth Certificate is best for the country is plain cowardice.

The COLB is not an original Birth Certificate and the O.B.C. will not be revealed because it would disqualify Obama for one reason or another.
Quite possible that O Senior was not the biological father. However, it appears they were indeed legally married when O was born, so the legal father is most definitely O Senior.
In most states any child born to a married couple is by definition the legal child of the husband, regardless of whether it is even possible for him be the biological father. DNA and other proof of paternity is just irrelevant to this legality.
Considering that those two laws appear to have been adopted in 1990 and 1980 respectively then I kind of doubt it.

You are playing semantic games. The monies have been spent. We all know the DNC acted for Obama.
And in fact were named as party to the suit...the funds expended have been exorbidant. And common sense asks why the investment to stonewall.

In many if not most states, apparently including HI, a bigamous marriage is considered legal for purposes of determining legitimacy of any children born, especially if the “innocent” partner was ignorant of the previous marriage.

I don’t know the answers. But it doesn’t appear that Nobama has spent any of HIS money on this so what does he have to lose in fighting it? But to keep saying Nobama has spent $800,000 is probably not true. The truth matters if you want credibility, doesn’t it? And the solicitor general is taxpayer funded, I believe.
I am not questioning Nobama’s “legitimacy”, just his so-called parents’ marriage.
It appears that the marriage was not legal, as Obama dad was apparently already married to at least one woman in Kenya.

If he was born in Kenya he is a fraud and has committed mail fraud on top of wasting elecoral money.
I don’t believe they were legally married. However, this doesn’t change Obama’s status as a legitimate child with legal paternity by Obama Senior or his status as a natural-born American citizen.
