In the real world—that is, what used to be the “real world” until the press set new rules where Barack Obama is concerned....what he would have to lose is huge credibility and most likely not winning the election by not being forthcoming and just releasing his BC.
We are in an alternate reality with so many new young journalists agog over Obama. They have a naive, sliding scale of morality and ethics when their celebrity horse runs-—and their engineering will slide us all into a much more problematic world where no moral “absolutes”—other than vanity: weight, beauty, health matters—exist.
...which could be settled very easily.
The State of Hawaii contributes to confusion with the naming of the two types of "COLB" one can obtain from them.
One, the type presented on Obama's "Fight the Smears" website, is the "CERTIFICATION of Live Birth," incorrectly identified by you as the "CERTIFICATE of Live Birth". This CERTIFICATION lacks crucial details such as Hospital of Birth, abd the name of the Attending Physician. These details are found on another document, called a "CERTIFICATE of Live Birth", identified by you aas a "Birth Certificate".
Both these documents are abbreviated with the same four letters "COLB", thereby making coherent discussion even more problematic.
What the world need to see is nothing more or less than the official, archival, unaltered, vault copy of Obama's "CERTIFICATE of Live Birth".
Thanks for the clarification—you’re right, these murky definitions have allowed Obama a world of wiggle room for double speak.
Normally, a savvy body of law would hold him accountable and demand clarity.

OK. So what can be done now to unseal the freaking bc? An order from the governor of Hawaii? A ruling from a judge? What? Time is running out before hear him say, “I, Barack HUSSEIN Obama, do solemnly swear...”.
Governor Lindle sealed his birth record to keep the press and others from obtaining a copy without O's consent. Speculation also is that she sealed it so no-one could get their hands on it and make changes.
Is anyone claiming that this would have applied to Obama?

So far, there appears to be "no controlling legal authority." The conditions were considered so clear, and the office so sacred, that it was assumed no one would try to pull a fast one, because there would be bipartisan outrage. This is obviously no longer the case.

“Therefore, I as Director of Health for the State of Hawai‘i, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawai‘i State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures.
“No state official, including Governor Linda Lingle, has ever instructed that this vital record be handled in a manner different from any other vital record in the possession of the State of Hawai‘i.”

We are in the midst of a Constitutional crisis, and as usual where democrat criminal enterprises are at stake, the media is avoiding the truth at every turn, so the American people do not realize this is in fact an usurpation of their sovereignty in the making, appointing an affiramtivea ction candidate who is not only not Constitutionally eligible but is a proven lying perjurer who cannot be trausted when taking an oath, especially an oath to defend and uphold OUR Constitution.
There is no record of their marriage. And before he “married” Obama’s mother, he already had a wife in Kenya, of some sort.
Whenever a Hawaiian birth certificate is requested for a child born outside of Hawaii, the parent has to surrender the existing birth certificate which is then sealed and the new one is issued.
The same procedure is used for requesting a change to an existing birth certificate.
Which can be done by anyone at any age, if they provide proof of residency in Hawaii for one year prior.
The $64,000 question is from which country is Obama's original BC.

Does anyone have a credible link actually documenting the amounts Obama is spending on legal fees associated with his birth certificate?

That was the purpose of my question. Was it SOP for the Hawaiian govt. or was it done at the request of Obama/DNC/Soros etc..? If it was sealed by SOP doesn’t that indicate he is indeed a foreigner?
I think we should have thousands camped at SCOTUS and Congress demanding a clear answer. Is there nothing else we can do??

In fact, when Hawaii became a state in 1959, there were a whole lot of old BC's that read, Territory of Hawaii, exchanged for new BC's that read, State of Hawaii, and had the State seal on them.
