Has Chief Justice Roberts considered the full implications of the action he will take on January 20, 2009?
At this moment in history, one man has the power to stop this monumental fraud and uphold the Constitution. That man is Chief Justice John Roberts. He can and should refuse to swear Obama into office until such time that he has delivered proof of his compliance with Article II Section I, which he has thus far spent a million dollars in legal fees refusing to do.
But if you expect Roberts to do it, you had better think again...

Of course he will. Just look at recent stories describing the contortions the SC is going through in order not to deal with the Indiana voter-ID case — a clear case of simply needing to read the law, think about what the Constitution intends, and make a ruling.

Would be the ultimate irony indeed, Obama gets sworn in, and then is promptly arrested.
I have no doubt he will get sworn in, I also have strong faith that any command he gives will not be legal, if he wants to tell the Armed Forces to do anything they feel is counter to the Constitution they can and will disobey him.
He cannot legally declare martial law, any attempt to circumnavigate established protocols will result in house arrest.
Obama will sit out his days as a silent bird in a gilded cage, America will be re-organized, Obama will be nothing more than a token black actor playing President in the Whitejailhouse.

On what basis do you make this insane statement? What world do you live in?
There is no Constitutional requirement that the swearing in with the oath be done by the CJ USSC. In fact, there’s no Constitutional requirement that anyone conduct the swearing in with the oath - only that the President take the oath.
The rest is just tradition and ego.

That said, there is nothing I like about Obama - his Marxism, his power-hungry nuttiness, etc. But maybe what I like least of all is the fact that he is a foreigner and we are handing over the government of the US to a foreigner, someone who has no allegiance to us. And in fact the allegiances he does have are all to third-world leftist Muslim countries or governments that have nothing in common with the US.
It’s still hard for me to believe that we’re really going to do this. It’s insane. Never in my wildest dreams could I imagine that I’d just wake up some morning and find that the US had been taken over by forces like this - and nobody objected and in fact, the press and media were even urging celebrations. But that’s essentially what this is. Welcome to New Kenya. And nobody cares.
The constitution used to be the highest law of the land, unfortunately, it will be circumvented yet again in 8 days.

Yes. When I clicked on the link I got trojan warnings from my anti-virus software. That’s never happened to me before so it’s not like a common occurance. Maybe it’s a false alarm, I don’t know. I’m just saying what happened.

I live in the world where reality is determined by facts and evidence, and not just by what a few people keep posting on the internet.
Nobody has produced any proof that Obama is not legally qualified.
Make that 2 Men -— President Bush could step up to the plate and put this on hold until Constitutional Proof was provided by the President-Elect. Of course, that will never happen, but would sure be a way for Bush to leave a Positive Legacy proving that he had the NADS to stand up for the Constitution!
Come on, this stuff is embarrassing. Like it or not, Barack Obama was elected by the American people. Chief Justice Roberts obviously will and should swear him in. I think the Bush v. Gore situation set an unfortunate precendent for trying to somehow nullify the outcome of the election because your guy didn’t win. As Crash Davis once said: Sometimes you win; sometimes you lose; sometimes it rains.
And of course you ignore the fact Obama has refused to produced proof that he is qualified.
