I think Bush waited until the Friday before his exit to put the EO in place before Obama is inaugurated and too late for Congress to attempt to override it before the inauguration. Brilliant timing. Produce the damn birth certificate before you step up to the podium.

Ordinarily I might disagree with you on this issue, since elected officials are immune to background checks.

HOWEVER, Obama’s NOT an elected official at the moment... One could argue that he's in limbo between offices, having just resigning his Senate seat last month... but not assuming the Presidency at the moment.

If the EO was released by Bush to catch Obama, while he's no longer a Senator, but not quite yet in the Executive, with Congress out of session, and them all focused on the Inauguration — the timing could have been well planned.

If true, the same would apply to a possible co-conspirator. Mr. Biden, for example, could receive new scrutiny on HIS security clearance, having resigned his Senate seat last Thursday ;)

Well the one that Hawaii issued says that the place on Earth that Obama was born was Honolulu, HI. That makes him a natural born citizen. They know this because they have his original birth certificate, according to Hawaii Health Department Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino and the registrar of vital statistics, Alvin Onaka.

If you can prove that the State of Hawaii and its agents are lying, please do so.
