Is he really the president yet?

OK... So everyone knows that Obama screwed up while taking the oath of office. And most people know by now that he took the oath a second time, just to be sure (as did two previous Presidents - Chester Arthur and Calvin Coolidge). But did he screw it up the second time also?

I guess Roberts could tell you. No Bible was used, it burned his hand too much the first time.

The whole screw-up serves Obama right, for trotting out Lincoln’s Bible and all the other excessive ceremony.

Yes, he’s the president. He’s also a doofus.

At this point, I don't care about what oath he did or didn't take.

I want several, if not all 50 United States to put laws into effect before 2012 that mandates that candidates have to prove their eligibilty by sending their election board a certified long form Birth Certificate from the actual official department of records of the state of birth.

Write your state government representatives, senators, and governor. Write all officials of your state. This is not a partisan issue. It is an American issue and is the right of each state to verify candidates on their ballots!

There is no requirement the oath be made while placing one’s hand on a Bible.

I don’t know if it is important that the Bible was present or not, but I don’t see his left hand in the picture and I believe he was crossing his fingers while taking the oath!

For Barry, the bible was just a museum piece anyway. The Word of God is law....he is lawless.

Just checked:
The Constitution does NOT require a holy book. The president need only recite particular verbiage.

BHO has won the electoral vote, he stated the Oath, Hawaii has vouched for his birth citizenship, and January 20 has passed. Failing any solid positive proof of non-marginal ineligibility, the man is now President of the United States. Get used to it. Continued whining belies “0bama Derangement Syndrome”, which only hurts our cause.

“...which only hurts our cause.”

BDS was a very effective strategery for the Left, though. Are you sure you want to abandon techniques developed by no less than Saul Alinsky, techniques that demonstrably work, and stick to methods that demonstrably lose?

The left won big with a persistent campaign to undermine Bush and doubt his legitimacy, intelligence, authority, and power.

Hawaii has vouched for his birth citizenship

Citation required. Hawaii has done no such thing. They merely admit to having birth documentation on file.

You can roll over and kiss Obama's feet if you like. Leave the rest of us out of it.

This answers what I was asking about.

Get used to it. Continued whining...

Where does this come from? I was just asking a simple question.

Why assume that he even took a second Oath? Remember the Saddam Hussein doubles?

I see a man who looks like Roberts with his hand raised before a man who looks like bo. So what?

Now let's assume that is indeed Chief Justice Roberts and the real bo. So what? They have their hands raised. So what?

As I posted in another thread, bo can have himself sworn in on the Bible, the koran, the Upanishads and Buddha's Dhamapada day after day until Judgment Day, it matters not if he is Constitutionally unqualified to be POTUS.

The extreme BDS stuff is not to credit/blame, but a combination of gradual Daschle-esque wear-down through repetition and 90% of the channels on TV and the newspapers telling us that Republicans are selfish retards. That is the evolution of the Alinsky tactic, hitting from both the 'top' (respected media, politicians, etc) and the 'bottom' (pop culture, internet chatter, etc) at the same time to give the appearance of unanimity.
