Just a vanity thread - I have been interested in locating some current photos of the former MCAS(H) Tustin base area located about 2 miles west of I-5 on Red Hill Avenue in Tustin, CA. I served there from 1988-1992 as a member of HMH-462 - Google earth shows some pre-construction demo in the area; however, this was most likely some time ago, as the base went up on the base closure list in 1997. I would be most appreciative if someone that lives in the area could take some pictures of what it looks like now (one of the hangars is on the Nat'l. Historic list, so it should still be there) or possibly direct me to a site where I could find some recent photos. Much appreciated in advance...

BTW, thank you for the link - kinda glam photos, but nice nonetheless. The man posting those photos made a comment on how he could not get inside the base area, but the impressiveness even through the chain-link fence was impressive - he really needs to see from up-close and inside the hangars to get a real perspective on the scale of the hangars...I can still find myself in awe after all these years...
