A bill that won't really help his state in the long run has drawn Sen. Arlen Specter to the dark side--a place he seems comfortable--all in the name of "bipartisanship". Specter doesn't quite grasp that when all is said and done, you probably won't want your name remotely associated with this socialist spending agenda wrapped in stimulus clothing. But hey, Arlen, you'll be remembered for two things: the magic bullet theory and selling out your party in its most crucial moment. A legacy to be proud of I'm sure.

I don’t know, but it ought to be they don’t represent the Republican party and they will get no support in upcoming elections. It’s time to draw a line in the sand. It’s the only way the Republicans can separate themselves from the Democrats and win in 2010. We can’t let the Democrats claim this bill had bi-partisan support.
Michael Steele is a stiff, just another soft phony, put into position so our side can say ‘see, we have a black guy too’. If he had any cubes, he would be publicly railing about this, right now, from the highest mountaintop. But he’s not, he’s a gutless stiff, just like the rest of our ‘leadership’.
