I just read National Review in which the Top 30 conservative movies were mentioned. It was interesting and nostalgic, but it did not talk, one bit, about what is next. Conservatives these days seem to only relish in what has gone before. The question, really, should be what is to come.
For one, I ask where the conservative version of SNL is or, at what stage, Muslim Dawn is in production.
Why havent these cultural opportunities been seized? Why lament the loss of times gone by and not just create an alternative viewing option for the millions of Americans who want something real today? What have we to fear? Or more appropriately, why do we insist on taking the defensive in possibly doing so?

Great idea. Mainstream media and H’weird leftists have control. It’s time for conservatives to provide alternatives news media & other forms of getting the word out.

Unfortunately it ain't as simple as just making the product. All video entertainment must be marketed and distributed. The Gatekeepers for these aspects of the media are most decidedly leftist and will very effectively stymie any and all attempts to put conservative, non-PC programing on America's screens. You would have to also build all you own TV networks and movie house chains as well as the ad agencies and post-production houses. And we haven't even started to talk about the guilds and unions and the critics.
Alternatives are great but they won't be easy or cheap!
