An article in Fridays Wall Street Journal says exactly what so many in the media have thought, but what so few have been willing to say.
Barack Obama has turned fearmongering into an art form, the Journal opined. He has repeatedly raised the specter of another Great Depression.
In his remarks, every gloomy statistic on the economy becomes a harbinger of doom. As he tells it, todays economy is the worst since the Great Depression. Without his Recovery and Reinvestment Act, he says, the economy will fall back into that abyss and may never recover.
This fearmongering...

Isn’t this the same Rhetoric that President Bush a Chancellor Palpatine, I mean Paulson were spewing before they made their exit?

I seem to remember them saying if TARP didn't pass we would all die. Senator Shmucky repeated it on the Dem side and even said that my insurance company would die (it was solid but its stock dropped 25% the day after) if we kept telling our Reps to vote against the bailout. The fearmongering is bipartisan.
