Rush is on "en fuego"; slams Obama et al, calls Rahmbo "the ballerina".
The Liberal Commun-O-Crats have ushered in a new anti-Rush strategy.
This strategy will back-fire on the Socio-Crats and I love it!

Radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh asks Obama to come on his show and debate him: "If these guys are so impressed with themselves, and if they are so sure of their correctness, why doesn't President Obama come on my show? We will do a one-on-one debate of ideas and policies. Now, his people in this Politico story, it's on the record. They're claiming they wanted me all along. They wanted me to be the focus of attention. So let's have the debate! I am offering President Obama to come on this program -- without staffers, without a teleprompter, without note cards -- to debate me on the issues. Let's talk about free markets versus government control. Let's talk about nationalizing health care and raising taxes on small business."

So they have this poll that says a lot of younger voters don’t like Rush, and they get all excited - “he can be the new “Bush”, the guy we’ll demonize just like Saul Alinsky taught us”.
Except.
By focusing on him, they do something Rush would never have been able to do on his own - - become elevated to the same level in national debate as the President of the United States!
Many of those “negatives” come from people who have never heard Rush. Young people don’t listen to AM radio, thet don’t seek out the opinions of stout cigar-loving 50-ish white men who probably remind them all too much of their fathers.
But now, more people than ever will be tuning in, seeking “the forbidden fruit”. Rush could never have drawn in these new listeners to the extent they are now coming on their own, to hear what it is that they are being told at every turn they must NOT listen to. Not all, but some, will listen, think, and believe.
Isn’t this how it was for all of us, when we cast aside the idealistic dreams of our liberal youth and finally realized the wisdom of conservative principles?
The amazing part is, The Snake and The Forehead were to dumb to figure this out!

Amen to that.. Listened to Rush when I was 22 and changed my whole life and how I see things. I became successful in everything I do because of the confidence I found listening to Rush.
Will it backfire? Rush does a better job advancing conservatism than the Republicans do, but he’s not in the congressional leadership. Obama and his ballerina are using Rush as a distraction from their legislative agenda. As Rush pointed out, Democrats are not completely united behind the Obama juggernaut. The question is whether this Rush spat is really helping Republicans or distracting them from what really matters. Republicans need to get the message out about the damage Obama is doing and consider working with the so-called “Blue Dogs” to derail the worst of Obama/Rahm’s agenda. Remember “issue ads”? The blue dogs don’t want the GOP running those in their home districts, seems to me. Rush can take care of himself and hopefully slow down Obama. The GOP needs a strategy for doing the same thing. If they are just getting behind Rush instead of running ahead of him, Rahm Emmanuel may well have a valid point.
Their arrogance led them astray. There is an old saying from the day when newspapers were the medium of choice: "Never get in an argument with someone who buys ink by the barrel." I think you could update that to add, "Never pick a fight with someone who has a microphone and 20 million listeners."
