Weeks ago, I obsessed on a political point: would President Barack Obama mobilize his millions of voters to apply political pressure on Washington to pass his policy initiatives. At that time, the stimulus package was the top item on his agenda, and the White House was not doing much to activate the Obama millions to boost support for the legislation in Congress. As the stimulus fight proceeded, Organizing for America, the spin-off of the Obama presidential campaign, did zap out an email to its list of 13 million and asked those supporters to hold house parties to discuss the recovery package. But discussing something is not quite the same as fighting for it.

The Blue Dog Demos realize that they are hitched to the Obambi wagon and it is spiraling out of control down a steep hill. They are concluding that Obambi has ruined his Presidency in 7 short weeks and they want off the ride.
But it is too late IMO, the confidence lost since November cannot be easily restored. What we need of course are massive tax holidays and cuts, but this will never happen. The producers are hunkering down, we are seriously spooked and there is not much Obambi can do to unspook the small businessman right now.

There will be another 2.5 million jobs lost by the end of the year. In June when they know the 2nd quarter GDP is tanked they will write every household a check for $5,000 and saddle our kids with another trillion in debt. Watch him rally these losers, the damage is done and little can change it now.

Unfortunately for them it will have quite the opposite effect. There is nothing like video of a bunch of hippies, “professional students”, “community activists”, race/ethnic warriors and the other dregs from the fever swamps of the “reality-based community” ralllying for their gubmint handouts to really pi** people off. It will be the equivalent of tossing a supertanker full of gasoline on a fire.
The Corruptocrats, the 0bamamesiah and the rest of the ‘reality-based community” are so clueless. It is probably because they know nothing about the people of this country. In fact they are quite afraid of us. They think they are in control, but they are not.
