Say it aint true, Paula.
One cog in American Idols production machine says the show is completely fixed and that producers have already chosen the final four competitors.
According to an unnamed female production staffer, Danny Gokey, Lil Rounds, ...

What was that “Ring of Fire” version? Johnny Cash must be spinning in his grave. It was a strange take on a classic.
Adam has talent—he’s cute and the young girls love him. He has a place with Disney Made for TV Movie Musicals. I don’t think its fixed—all of the top 10 have talent and the show is really based on how much money they think they make off the winners with recording contracts. It’s capitalism more than anything else.
As it turned out, she was his saving grace. The strength she had was more than I could ever muster. God blessed him.
God can bestow no greater blessing upon a man than to send him a strong and righteous wife.

If the show is fixed, I doubt Paula knows anything about it.
Well, Alexis is at the bottom of the DialIdol rankings this week. It will be interesting to see if she gets booted but is saved by the judges. I don’t think DialIdol got it exactly right last week though.
Everybody that gets to Hollywood signs a record contract with Sony/BMG, any of them that shows enough potential audience will get to record an album regardless of the results of the show (remember season 2). There’s no reason to “fix” it, the show is a self profitable way to find and advertise talent, the “contest” is just window dressing for A&R and advertising.
Paula has a hard time remembering her name.
I've noticed a slight physical resemblance between him and Elvis. His song last night was just plain weird, but the guy can really sing and has a brillant smile.

I’m a 60’s girl, Beatles, Motown, etc. I don’t know why, but I loved Adam’s performance last night. I think if he had tried to sing the Johnny Cash version, or any other country song, he would have been horrible. What he did was perfect for him. He’s very talented.
The producers really want it to be Danny or Alexis, she added. They think theyre very commercially viable, have a good image and a great story.
That article sure called it right. Who was it that got the boot last night? So the fix was in to get her into the final 2. They can even keep someone 1 time this year. She goes home early and they didn’t use the option to keep her. Yep fix is in.
What these “writers” have to realize is that the voters are mostly teen girls.
I disagree Adam can not be marketed. There is not much of an audience for his type. Ask Boy George how well it worked out for him.
Just so you know a little bit about Boy George and “Culture Club”
The band signed with Virgin Records in the UK, and with Epic Records in the US and released its debut album Kissing To Be Clever in 1982.
The single “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?”, reached #1 in a dozen countries around the world, and #2 in the United States. This was followed by “Time (Clock Of The Heart)” (not on the UK LP), which reached the US #2, and “I’ll Tumble 4 Ya” which reached US #9. This gave Culture Club the distinction of being the first group since the Beatles to have three Top 10 hits in the US from a debut album.
Their next album, Colour By Numbers was also a huge success. The single “Church Of The Poison Mind” (featuring Helen Terry) became a Top 10 hit, and “Karma Chameleon” became a #1 single in sixteen countries, including the US, where it stayed at #1 for three weeks. It was the best-selling single of the year in the UK, spending six weeks at #1. It stands as the group’s biggest hit. “Miss Me Blind” and “It’s A Miracle” were Top 5 and Top 20 hits respectively, and “Victims” was another Top 3 UK hit.
Wow I guess you told me. Boy George is messed up but made records. All I do is work and provide a warm and loving home for my family.. ;^)
I really screwed up!
He has unbelievable talent. That sell records. He could be headlining a major rock band this weekend and selling out arenas. As much as you don't want it to be true, sorry to say, it is.
I’m not surprised, two things that do not go together, reality and TV.
