NMATV stands behind AFA and their boycott of PepsiCo's sponsorship of a "Sexually Offensive" episode of Fox's The Family Guy
March 27, 2009 New Media Alliance Television (www.nmatv.com) is standing firmly behind the American Family Association's boycott of PepsiCo, in their FCC complaint drive against the Fox Broadcasting Company's sexually offensive, anti-Family, anti-Christian content included in a recent airing of The Family Guy.

Family Guy is always crude and stupid, but what was particularly disgusting about the episode under discussion?
the video is at the end of the article
As I understand it, using the "Chan" button will solve any problem you may have with programming that you find offensive.
I think you MISunderstand the point... it isn’t about the Family Guy being on air.. it is about the fair use of the programming material online by the AFA and NMATV. Did you read the article and fail to get that or are you just popping off about something irrelevant?
And yes, remote control is an answer, but what is wrong with telling pepsi (Obama-cola) that if you sponsor this crap, we won’t buy your stuff? The heavier of a price they pay for airing this garbage, the less of it there will be, and the better our society will be.
If that is the case, why are they standing “firmly behind” the boycott of Pepsi and the complaint against Family Guy with the FCC?
Id like to see Family guy crap on Mohamed like they do Jesus. Cowards.
So would I. Family Guy is crude and sometimes stupid, but also can be very funny. If you dont like it, dont watch it. Censorship is not the answer. Once Hussein Obama and his thugs can censor Family Guy, they can censor anything. They are already trying to shut down Rush, Hannity, Levin, etc... The free market and not the government should take care of things like Family Guy.
My guess is that Pepsi buys time on Family Guy because they want to reach the 18-29 year old demographic and encourage them to buy Pepsi.
As for me, I would never drink Pepsi but if wanted to market a product to people 18-29 I would buy time on Family Guy, the Simpson’s and the Daily Show.
is it Tennessee volunteers?
I Don't follow or know anything about college sports
Excuse me while I go take a shower.
look, I only speak for myself, trumandogz... but I stand behind the AFA’s right to use the footage to promote their boycott. That is called Fair Use.
If I boycotted Pepsi it would be meaningless, because I only drink Pepsi products when they are part of a value meal. Nonetheless I support AFA’s decision to boycott Pepsi. We need to put as much pressure or more on the institutions that have been under Alinskyite pressure for the last several decades. While the rest of us just tried to work and make a living, they were busy turning our popular culture and its fundamental institutions into cesspools. I’ve about had enough of it.
Without a doubt, but whats wrong with telling them that as long as they sponsor this garbage, we wont buy their product? I agree they are after their 18-29 group. Im also sure they take an unspecified older/or morals based crowd for granted. Nothing wrong with telling them when we notice the kind of programming they think there needs to be more of.
If they think can do better to give us the finger and laugh,, then thats on them. And its on us to avoid them in every way we can if they do.
Well put. Im sick of channel surfing, maybe kids in the room, and then the refrigerator scene happens with his talking about milk bottles full of semen. Of course you change the channel, but its disgusting the cesspool that TV has become.
Thank you, Sir, for stepping up and deciding what should and shouldn’t be banned.
I was having trouble operating the remote, but your solution eliminates that necessity.
To whom should I forward a list of shows, so that I might know what I may and may not watch?
Boycotts ARE the free market in action.
There's nothing in the world that works like voting with your wallet!
