Ann Coulter does a great job of expressing the feelings of many people when they see and hear the left make obscure references and giggle:
On MSNBC, hosts Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow have been tittering over the similarity of the name "tea parties" to an obscure homosexual sexual practice known as "tea bagging." Night after night, they sneer at Republicans for being so stupid as to call their rallies "tea bagging."
Every host on Air America and every unbathed, basement-dwelling loser on the left wing blogosphere has spent the last week making jokes about tea bagging, a practice they show a surprising degree of familiarity with.
Except no one is calling the tea parties "tea bagging" -- except Olbermann and Maddow. Republicans call them "tea parties."
But if the Republicans were calling them "tea-bagging parties," the MSNBC hosts would have a fantastically hilarious segment for viewers in San Francisco and the West Village and not anyplace else in the rest of the country. On the other hand, they're not called "tea-bagging parties." (That, of course refers to the cocktail hour at Barney Frank's condo in Georgetown.)

What sleaze these people are...
The deal is that in the early days of videogames there was no way a winning gamer could show a sense of personal triumph over the losing gamer. Someone noticed that the avatars were designed to "squat" even if their arms and heads didn't otherwise move. Accordingly, once the opponent was down and out of commission, the winner could move over and squat on the loser.
Ergo "tea bagging" ~ for a couple of reasons ~ (1) the motion made by the squatting avatar looks like the dunking of a tea-bag in a cup of hot water, and (2) gaming was virtually a female-free environment so "male" anatomical references became common (as is usually the case).
An older term was "dick dance", and that one has probably been around for several millenia.
Someone go wake Ann up. Time she learned some "stuff" about video gaming. If homosexuals have any part in this it's that they copied the gamers.
Ditto to your comment...I'm not a prude, but until I heard/read about this teabagging stuff, compliments of the liberals, I had no idea...doesn't surprise me either that this is the spin they are putting on tea parties...they're sick...they're all sick.
As per my son. The following is another widely used meaning of “tea bagging”
“Tea Bagging” is also a reference / action used by gamers to virtually humiliate an adversary they just “pwnd” (Pwnd = owned = I killed your ass with ease)
The way this is generally done is after the adversary is killed, the pwner walks up the the pwnee’s corpse and either sits or squats on the pwnee’s head then stands up and does it again. Depending upon the pace of the battle and the need to move this may go on until the pwnee either releases his corpse and “respawns” or logs off.
Essentially, it is a show of dominance over ones virtual adversary.

s far as these “Anchors” and cable shows do all of their ridicule and cheap shots goes, ask yourself why don’t they attack them on the Theme of the demonstrations? I mean, offer some rational arguments, ideological rationalizations, or candid debate? There are always two (or more) views on a given topic. Why don’t the forthrightly express an alternative view to the topic.
I guess the answer it that their view is indefensible or so ridiculous that they would look like a braying jackass. If you need to attack an idea that a lot of people believe in, then you must resort to ridicule. I fear that from the election forward that this present insanity was sowing the seeds of its own destruction. When their house of cards crashes, it will take a lot of fools with them. What is sad is that the education system in this country has produced so mean useful idiots.
Having said the above, I am sure that people on this site will agree with me that we conservatives produce/promotes so few real leaders. I want a leader to emerge that will lead against our enemies Domestic and Foreign. Someone who will fight Polosi, and Reid and the Pirates, and the raciest UN, and all of these petty tyrants who take our $$ and then insult us.
I guess I lon for the day when we have a leader who is not politically correct but honest based on our uniqueness as a country. SIGH!
