Governor Palin Now A Laughing Stock Amongst Beltway Republicans
Conservatives4Palin ^ | 20.04.09 | The Aged P

Posted on 04/20/2009 3:03:08 PM PDT by sussex

"Where is she heading? She is going to get her own reality show, not the White House," said John Feehery, a Republican consultant. "There a lot of big challenges in this country and how can she handle them if she can barely handle her own family?"

And there we have it – those powerful Republican circles, none more influential than John Feehery. Mr Feehery was, of course, a staffer for former House Speaker Dennis Hastert, who endorsed Mitt Romney last year. Though retired from politics he is still the Don Corleone of the GOP, a man who can make or break any aspiring politician with a mere flicker of his eyelid. Hastert also had no trouble handling his own family, especially his lobbyist son Joshua... Feehery’s connection with Hastert also makes him an expert on electioneering – just ask all those Republican candidates who disinvited Hastert from campaign appearances on their behalf in the 2006 election.

Yes, nobody better placed to give an opinion on Governor Palin than a Beltway lobbyist who blogs for CNN Politics and tells Republicans they can only beat Obama by liking him...

“well the RINO’s have control of the national party right now. we conservatives need to organize our own faction within the GOP.”

I disagree. We need to rid ourselves of the GOP.

The CPAC event she didn’t even attend last year either. It’s during the legislature, she couldn’t attend last year so what made them think she would attend this year, and as far as the GOP Fundraiser, you mean the same event that has come out in full support of Arlen Spector. Sarah isn’t gonna be anyone’s puppet, she knows why they want her there and it’s not because they support her, it’s because they want her to stand around like a good puppet and help them raise money. Sarah has only come out in support of one person so far and that would be Rick Perry. SarahPac was created to help endorse Conservative candidates, that is exactly what she is doing

They are nothing more than money grubbing wannabes who like to lay low and let the Democrats steal the cash and perks for them. They just do not have the stones to steal the stuff themselves since they are liars who hide behind false conservatism while letting their Democrat friends do the dirty work.

interesting view...i like it :)

Am I remembering wrongly, or didn’t the GOP or some of the Beltway geeks stab her in the back?

And they are sooo powerful because they have been soooo successful and demonstrated such leadership!

These days I pay attention to what the Potomac sippers tell me I should think, and think the opposite. They killed us in 06 and 08, and the Republican Party will commit complete suicide if we go the beltway route again. Trashy attacks on Sarah and her family aren’t going to score any points for their liberalized Democrat-lites.

well the RINO’s have control of the national party right now. we conservatives need to organize our own faction within the GOP.

This is actually an opportune time. The rino faction is devoid of talent--who they gonna run? Tim Pawlenty? Crist? Please. The Right has the rising stars if it can unite behind one and not eat its own.

In 1976 the beltway einsteins joked and guffawed about Ronald Reagan too. They had their way, nominating the popcorn- brain Gerald Ford. But tomorrow is another day.

Obama will be vulnerable in 2012 and the right side of the country will be itching to correct the 'Big-ass mistake' of 2008.

John Feehery is the sort of establishment RINO they trot out on CNN or MSNBC for “balance”.

They all have. Just look at what is happening in Alaska right now. It’s not just the Democrats who are out to get her, but the Republicans as well. She gets crap from both sides of the aisle

Seems to me Congressman Henry Hyde was one of those treasures on our side. Staunchly pro life.

His personal life, not so great.

We can’t leave out the all illustrious Kennedy clan. That family is full rapists, mafia members, sex addicts, murders and on and on. I would like to excommunicate Republicans from the party who don’t follow the Republican beliefs.

The GOP really suck. Just as Cornyn is going to back Specter and Crist if he runs.
A third party has no chance in the presidential race or when the big wigs back jerks, which is what they do.

That’s what primaries are for.

Exactly. The ground swell has to start now, and I believe has started with the Tea-Parties. More conservatives need to get involved and oust these prisses and pricks! If rino's continue to rule the party it will absolutely die and conservatives will have no where to turn! Look where conservatives are now, there is not a thing politically we can do to stop the dems!

Don't give a friggin dime to the GOP/RNC if they support ANY rino. Vote the rino's out in the PRIMARIES even if it means a dem may have a chance at beating and unknown conservative!!

Just let me know what has to be done and I will do it. As of right now I don’t belong to any party, in fact when someone asks me what I am I just say I’m a Conservative. I don’t consider myself a Republican because they don’t deserve my respect. And your right, the words used to describe Reagan were even worse. I really wonder, if Reagan had ran against Obama in 2008, I bet Reagan would have lost, why, because the GOP is gutless, they wouldn’t stand up for him just like they don’t stand up for Conservatives in general.

Now, aren’t those the same folks who laughed at that goofy ex-movie-star Governor of California Ronald Reagan? Say, whatever happened to him, anyway?

Both of the ones that are left? They haven't figured out 0bama yet, and they sure haven't figured out their constituency.

Hey beltway Republicans! Remember what the Joker did the the rest of the mob? That's what 0bama intends to do to you.

Sadly, I had to explain to my son why I no longer watch news at night because of my blood pressure and constantly blowing up at republican sycophantic Obama butt lickers like this POS.

These pukes disgust me
