If Arabs Can Live in Jewish Neighborhoods, Why Can't Jews Live in Arab Neighborhoods?
In other words, if Palestinianism has any validity, then so does Zionism - even moreso, since Jews are indigenous to Israel and her territories. Via DailyAlert.org, h/t Makor Rishon-Hebrew, Apr 8, 2009:
During Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat’s recent visit to the U.S., Maariv headlined a story: “Barkat Enables Jewish Building in Eastern Jerusalem.” After hearing about it, the mayor didn’t quite understand the controversy. From his perspective, Jews are permitted to live in any section of Jerusalem.
“The Israel Supreme Court has ruled that in the State of Israel and in Jerusalem in particular, Arabs may live in Jewish neighborhoods,” he said last week.
“Arabs live in the [Jewish] French Hill neighborhood of Jerusalem and the Supreme Court approved this. I’m adopting the perspective of the Supreme Court. Jews are also allowed to live in any part of the city, including the eastern part. It is their democratic, Jewish, and ideological right to live wherever they want.”
Mayor Barkat heads a coalition that includes 30 of the 31 members of the Jerusalem City Council.
Well, Jews don’t kill their neighbors.
and muslim arabs do, even other muslims but of a different sect. hell they kill their own children over their misguided belief in family honour.
Why would they want to?
Here’s something I think we need to focus on the liberals when it comes to their hypocrisy.
the particular hypocrisy is this: Majority/minority doesn’t matter to liberals, just whatever their desired outcome is.
In the US libs often win on the ‘tyranny of the minority’ strategy. Depending on the issue they also use the ‘majority rules’ argument, if they are the majority.
In Israel, they make the palestinians a minority in certain cases, but in reality the Israelis (8-10 million) are the minority surrounded by more than 1 billion muslims.
Such hypocrisy.

Answer: The Jews let them; The Arabs don’t.

An issue the Bush administration should have raised, and which the Obama administration should raise. Why can't Jews live in the West Bank and Gaza? Why is the United States advocating the creation of a state that practices apartheid?
Real estate is very expensive in Jerusalem.
Not sure how you could walk to shul in an arab neighborhood, though.
